yellow, and it is actually my favorite too!!

coldplay gives me this nice peace of mind. like i can think of them whenever during the day and it makes me happy. the same with the beatles and U2, but coldplay perhaps more than the others because a) theyre all alive and b) theyre younger than U2, and i think i can relate to them better. coldplay also made me get into modern music more, because i only used to listen to classic rock where most of the band members were either really old or dead. so now i can have crushes on guys that are currently young and good looking and making music, rather than pretending paul mccartney and george harrison are 22 again. now i listen to many more modern bands. theres probably a bunch more, ill get back when i think of those:)

yeah, ive DEFINITELY done stuff like that. gwenyth is v. cool and all, but i do watch it for chris. *guilty*. and i cry at yellow. all the time. and i want to bump in to chris in NYC soo bad, i dream about it. i live 45 mins from the city, and i want to go this summer basically to run into him. i may even use one of those awful stalker sites (not to find out WHERE he is, just to see if he was in the city on that day...):sneaky:

yeah, i was at that show and took pics, but i was using a crappish camera without a good zoom, so you really cant see anything. PM me if you want them, but theyre really not worth it, which is why im not posting them here. that girl was pissing me off, though. if i was invited ON STAGE and if WILL LIFTED ME UP TO PUT ME ONSTAGE, i would drop WHOEVER i was calling.

june 7 2005. i had my last exam, went out to ice cream with my friends, like WETTING MY PANTS to get the CD, heard SoS in the ic cream place and said "we HAVE to go to the mall. NOW" because i couldnt wait any longer, and bought it. LAST COPY on the shelf at the mall, too. ive liked coldplay since AROBTTH (my mom had the CD), but i really only knew clocks and IMP. then i saw the SoS video last may (may??) and FELL IN LOVE. love at first sight, really. i first fell in love with the way chris moved, then the song. that's still my favorite video. i once traced my whole coldplay history. its quite long. i bought X&Y on vinyl in march 2006. i wish i had it sooner. im probably going to wear out the grooves playing it.

while i find this a bit stalker-ish, i also think its quite funny. and i like hearing about their home lives, however obsessive that may be. and im glad his songs are safe. i think we'd all care a hell of a lot more if theyd been lost.

my friend and i are really good at catching bits of lyrics in class, to coldplay and U2 and all other music we listen to. we're pretty hilarious "X&Y" in math class always results in a look and mouthing "the land sea rivers trees the stars the sky" history- real politik --- "tell me your own politik" chemistry---- SoS etc etc. we rule at it. he really loves coldplay too, but he pretends he doesnt and makes fun of me. and this is coming from a guy who wears a coldplay t-shirt like every third day.

i LOVE this version...i downloaded it last night and its SO good. its like a competely new song minus the chorus. i think they should maybe re-use the lyrics for something else, because i think theyre really good. its the song of today.
