  2. 1. sleeping sun 2. i ran away 3. the world turned upside down it wasnt so hard to pick my top 3 b-sides, but if it was top 3 not on any of the 3 albums, id be ripping out my hair
  3. idiot again. so they say
  4. am i the only one thats upset about chris cutting his hair???? it needed a trim, yes, but...it needs to be longer than THAT. :(
  5. 8/10 ode to deodorant
  6. square one oh brother (hint: NOT talk!!)
  7. my yearbook will probably have them in too, because we always have a section like that. in the past we've had paul mccartney, bono, george harrison, green day, and the like. i love having that section BTW, the section isnt usually created by the yearbook staff, its bought from the yearbook publisher, so the yearbook staff at a particular school has nothing to do with what goes in there. i wish it did. id throw in coldplay, U2, beatles all over the place for music, brokeback mountain and crash for movies, and a million other things all over the place.
  8. yeah, ill have to hand in mine for my senior year book in september  *SOB*..i have a million ideas going around my head. we only each get 1/9 of a page though, which is really tiny when you think about it. i want to write out the complete lyrics to the beatles' "in my life" and green day's "good riddance (time of your life)" and semisonic's "closing time", but i have a million ideas for coldplay lyrics too, specifically "you know i love you so" and some others along that line. ill get back to you when i do write it this summer.
  9. ode to deodorant surprise
  10. i very much like and respect eric claption, but WTF??? i dont believe that is true AT ALL. i think we're all VERY VERY lucky to have coldplay and U2 and like bands leading the music industry. what the hell is he talking about, "people dont know where [rock and roll] came from?? both U2 and Coldplay are huge fans of the classics and have performed songs from Jimi Hendrix, Jonny Cash, the Beatles, and the Stones in concert over the years. Poor eric. i think hes becoming senile.
  11. the beatles. i still consider them my #1 band, because without them, i dont believe any bands like coldplay or whoever would exist. and i love love love their stuff, still to this day, but ive been in a year-long uber coldplay fest that i cant get out of (not that i WANT to or anything!!! i just feel sorta bad for the rest of my music on my ipod that hasnt been played hardly at all in a year). if i had to rank my top 3 bands, it would be 1- beatles 2- coldplay 3- U2 but i like them all for such different reasons that i cant rank them. therefore, theyre all equal, its just that im in my coldplay phase where i cant listen to anything else.
  12. duh. im an idiot.:embarassed: thanks. i just was looking for the globe, like the actual globe. i was looking when they were in the house.:stunned:
  13. where is the globe in the "dont panic" vid? i see it in "shiver", but not "dont panic"...
  14. yesterday it was "dont panic" demo version from the blue room ep. it was PERFECT for yesterday in every sense. today, its warning sign.
  15. http://www.worldglobes.com/search/index.cfm?Ntt=illuminated%20globes&Ntk=all&Nao=0&view=31 theyre somewhat pricey, though, but a few dead-ringers for the one on the cover (all the antique-looking ones)
  16. a message shining star
  17. i bet you could find one pretty easily. google it maybe? id love to have one too. ive seen them before, though, so i bet theyre not too hard to find. i dont think id recommend lighting up a regular globe. i dont think it would work, and it sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. and a fire hazard.
  18. in my place is AWESOME for base. i have a really hard time hearing base in any song, but i can hear it there really well, which must mean its good. also things i dont understand, ladder to the sun (version 2), and the world turned upside down. i voted for daylight, which is also very good for base, but my #1 choice is in my place
  19. nappies, when he changes lyrics to songs, ode to deodorant (the subject matter), lost highway (his mess-ups), when he speaks FRENCH...i could go on and on oh oh oh! on LIVE 2003, right before they launch into "yellow": "theres no excuse to be sat down in this song, you know, please, if you stand up we'll buy you all ice cream."
  20. politik summer
  21. 1. square one 2. politik 3. The World Turned Upside Down 4. Shiver 5. Speed Of Sound 6. GPASUYF 7. Moses 8. Things I Dont Understand 9. I Ran Away 10. Talk 11. White Shadows 12. Everything's Not Lost ACOUSTIC: 13. Don't Panic 14. See You Soon 15. Sleeping Sun 16. Green Eyes 17. Clocks 18. Daylight 19. In My Place 20. Ladder to the Sun 21. Swallowed In the Sea 22. Warning Sign 23. Yellow 24. Fix You And there's an infinite number of songs I'd LOVE to hear them cover, so I didnt bother to pick one really for the list, but I'm really into Snow Patrol's "Chocolate" right now, so maybe that?
  22. in my place, i ran away, fix you... probably more
  23. ode to deodorant you know
  24. 1. Yellow 2. Shiver 3. Warning Sign ugh, thats SOOO hard. #1 was easy for me, but i feel like ive done a disservice to all my other faves!! ahhhhh!
