  1. OK, so I'm farther away than I thought :P. Section 134a. Ahh well, I've seen them three times from close before, twice in the very front and once like four rows back, so I can totally deal--I'm just glad I'm going, because it was so unexpected! :D
  2. That makes TWO Coldplayers that love me more now just because I watch Anthony Bourdain! :P Once I don't have to do anymore reading for uni, I plan to read his books :wacky:. [/offtopic]
  3. Thanks for the email! :nice: But speakers suspended from the roof leads me to believe it'll be closed . Ahh, well .
  4. Haha, Anthony Bourdain is such a bastard, but I love him :P. He was just cutting up some meat on his plate on his show, and said "Is this something Gwyneth Paltrow would eat? Would she eat this if she wanted to lose more weight? I don't think so."
  5. On a somewhat random note, I'd love to see a picture of Chris with braces . Also because he was about my age when he had them :wacky:. I can picture geeky Chris in a movie theater with braces and a curly afro seeing a Gwyneth movie and having no idea he would end up married to her :P.
  6. If there's anything important in that email, could someone repost it here? I bought tickets through a third party and won't be getting the email.
  7. I bet the basics have some basis in truth, but I would think that it's somewhat exaggerated and embellished to make it more sellable. What aggrivates me is that she would actually sell her story, or write it herself and then release it publically, for money or recognition or whatever. She has no idea that it makes her look worse than it makes Chris look.
  8. Someday I'll learn manual well, and perhaps then I'll understand why it's preferable. I would say in America it's like 70% automatic, 30% manual.
  9. I'm like really hoping the roof is open now...that view is AMAZING, with the tower up there like that :dead:. I also wasn't aware this place was THAT big :uhoh:. Ah well, I'll see Coldplay anywhere, and I couldn't possible have done GA for this show.
  10. This picture just made me squee: I guess most of you say that the roof won't be open for a concert, but most of the concerts on this tour leg have been open air, and it's supposed to be nice weather...oh man, if they have the roof open, that will be so cool :nice:.
  11. My god . I'm more grossed out by her upper arms, where the muscles are disgustingly defined.
  12. That picture HAS to be edited somehow...doesn't it? :uhoh: That's DISGUSTING, and Madonna has never looked that gross before. I swear that can't be real, especially the upper arms.
  13. I had that one of Thalia's for the longest time :nice:. She makes some great ones!
  14. I've sold on StubHub several times before, but not bought...the thing is, the tickets are overnighted on FedEx, so it's not the actual mail I'm worried about, it's when the seller sticks them in the envelope and in the FedEx box :uhoh:.They're TOLD to mail them IMMEDIATELY upon recieving the email (which is sitting in his/her inbox right now...), but that doesn't mean they'll run to the nearest FedEx the second they read it. If they don't do that til Wednesday, I'm screwed :worried:. Anyway, I'm getting excited for my first international Coldplay concert!. I'm seeing Coldplay in THREE countries this year, that's just absurd :freak:.
  15. Good luck, Emma!
  16. OK, two random Coldplay thoughts for today. This is going to take lots of wordage to explain: 1. I went to TJ Maxx with my mom, and immediately upon entering, I saw this huge purple totebag with butterflies all over it, and the butterflies looked a lot like the Coldplay confetti :nice:. The last thing I need is another tote bag, so even though I mentioned how Coldplay-tastic it was to my mom and how it could be very useful for all the stuff I'll need to stash in my bag at Wembley, we walked away and continued shopping. A few minutes later, "Yellow" came on the store radio system and I squeed, and my mom turned to me and said "it's a sign, I'll let you buy that bag."! I thought that was pretty cute of her. 2. I found out in May or so that Coldplay would be playing Toronto the same day I would be there with my family, but because August was so far in the future at the time, my mom and I wrote it off and didn't get tickets. Now that we're really planning for our Canada trip later in the week, we bought all these guidebooks to Toronto, and when I came down for breakfast today my mom asked "So...what venue is Coldplay playing in Toronto again?" I had to double check online and all that, and I guess I left the coldplay.com and Ticketmaster windows up on the family computer. We discussed going and all but came to the conclusion that logistically, it would be hard to make it to the Rogers Center in time for the show. However, later that day, my dad went on the computer and saw the Coldplay and Ticketmaster windows that I left up and came up to my room and was like "SO...Coldplay are going to be in Toronto when we are?" (this coming from the guy who thinks concerts are a waste of money). I said yeah but made it sound like we had officially decided not to go, and when my mom came home we all talked about it...and we bought tickets on the spot :stunned:. My mom and I are seeing Coldplay on Thursday night! :freak: Now I'm just worried the person I bought them from on StubHub sticks them in the mail ASAP so they get to my house by Wednesday night...if they don't arrive by then, I'm screwed, because we're leaving my house at 6AM on Thursday morning to make it to Toronto :uhoh:. Anyway, sorry for rambling. I had to write that out. I'm too excited .
  17. Uh, I don't know about everyone else, but...my sphincters are pretty good at making sure I don't pee in pools in any size quantities :uhoh:.
  18. ^I've actually reaaaaally started to worry now . If the seller doesn't put the tickets in the mail til Wednesday night, I won't get them til Thursday morning, and we're leaving our house at 7AM, before mail would arrive on Thursday morning :uhoh:.
  19. As of 5 minutes ago, I'm going to this concert :freak: :bomb:. We were going to be in Toronto anyway at this time, and we've known Coldplay was going to be there too then, but because I've seen them so much and our Canada plans were unclear, but this morning at breakfast my mom looked at me sideways and was like "do you think there are Coldplay tickets left for Toronto?" We researched a bit and found out there WERE tickets left, but we decided we probably weren't going to go because our schedule is so tight. Then my dad logged onto the family computer and saw I left the Coldplay and Ticketmaster pages up on the screen (oops...) and was like "*sigh sigh sigh* I guess you really can't miss it if they so happen to be there." So I got tickets off StubHub...section 134, row 2, right next to the stage! :stunned: Now my only worry is that my tickets come in the mail in time! We selected FedEx overnight, but the seller BETTER check their email first thing tomorrow morning and pop them in the mail :bomb:. Ugh, now I'm worried they won't come in time :worried:.
  20. You couldn't MMS before?! I know that the 3G doesn't have video, so no video messages, but no picture messages either?! What's the point of having a camera phone, then .
  21. Ugh, I totally agree, Grace. Fall and winter are my favorite seasons anyway, but the clothes are so much cooler too :D. I can't wait to be able to wear my boots and trench coats and sweaters .
  22. I don't know, some rumors are that they'll be completely different iPhones. Some say that it'll be the "iPhone Lite," which is total crap if that's true. I want a real iPhone, dammit! But if it's the real iPhone, I just hope the data prices are better. After that, all I need to learn how to do is type on a touch screen...MAN I suck at that . And isn't the 3Gs, like, not THAT different from the 3G? They say it's faster, I guess, and it can take video...but other than that, I'd be perfectly fine with the 3G :P.
  23. I want an iPhone so badly it hurts :bigcry:. Verizon says they'll have them by Christmas (I don't know if I should believe that), so I plan to ask for one if it's true, unlock it, and bring it back to England . We'll see if Verizon holds up their end of the deal. And if my dad is willing to pay the astronomical data fees .
  24. I'm on Verizon, and most non-smart Verizon phones don't use SIM cards :dozey:. There's not even a slot for one behind the battery >.< I wish I could do that, though!
