15-Oct-2009: Keep A Child Alive Black Ball, Hammerstein Ballroom, New York City [Chris Martin Only]
I would just like to say... I FINALLY GOT MY WISH OF CHRIS MARTIN WEARING A TIE. :wideeyed: :sweatdrop: :wink3: :bomb: The waistcoat is a HUGELY appreciated added bonus :sneaky:. I love the whole dressy look so much I can't even be bothered to complain about his short hair. It's a tradeoff, but the tie is SO worth it. That is all. :P

Small Reminders/Updates & The Coldplay Messenger (feat. Roadie #42!)
I'm glad I'm not the only one that got all sad and nostalgic after reading that post . Miller is just too amazing. He makes me want to be a roadie even more than I already did. I did cringe when I read "...my office at the new studio," though >.< I don't know why I'm so attached to it, but I don't like the idea of the Bakery not being the home base! :bigcry:

WE'VE FOUND THE BAKERY!! *NOW WITH PHOTOGRAPHIC PROOF* UPDATED FIRST POST!*
That makes me feel better :nice:. I asked a more specific follow-up question, but I doubt she'd answer two on the same topic :P.

Gwyneth...
UGH, I want a Burberry trench someday. Unfortunately, the idea that I'd ever be in a position to spend £500 on a coat is laughable. That polaroid of her is so beautiful! My God, if I had to be someone else in the world, I'd be Gwyneth: beautiful, talented, wealthy, best husband imaginable, and adorable kids :nice:. And I'm glad some website loves her :wacky:.

Ask the Oracle on Coldplay.com (Now in session!)
^oooh, thank God! :P I was just going to suggest that we all mass-question her about the Bakery until she answers, because I would be heartbroken if they were completely ditching it. *whew*

WE'VE FOUND THE BAKERY!! *NOW WITH PHOTOGRAPHIC PROOF* UPDATED FIRST POST!*
The idea that they, as multimillionaires, rent their studio/clubhouse strikes me as very funny . I refuse to believe that they're ditching the Bakery for good, partially because it's illogical, and partially because it would break my heart :P. I think they're just getting a chance of scenery, perhaps in NY.

Gwyneth...
AHH, I love her whole outfit in that series of pictures! I loooooove how trenchcoats look with leggings/stockings and high leather boots :nice:. I need to find me a white/cream trench. I also love her bag--I think she looks the best when she wears classic, timeless sorts of outfits rather than cutting-edge, weird dresses for awards ceremonies and magazine shoots.

WE'VE FOUND THE BAKERY!! *NOW WITH PHOTOGRAPHIC PROOF* UPDATED FIRST POST!*
I'm thinking that they might just be starting out ideas in other studios, like they did with VLV. I have my fingers crossed that they're not ditching the Bakery for good, though I don't think they will: they keep on referring to it as their "home" and their "clubhouse," and it's so damn close to where they live! They'd be fools to throw away that convenience and that hominess they have there--and who the hell would want to buy a studio with all sorts of weird paintings and posters all over the walls? I bet they're just recording little bits in different studios for a bit of a change of scenery, and then in a year or so, they'll do most of the nitty-gritty work back in the Bakery :D. Besides, I'd be really pissed if they're leaving London for New York permanently just as I leave New York (or very close to it) for London permanently (or not too far from it) :dozey:.

Gwyneth...
It's definitely a builder. If it was someone in Gwyneth's family, I doubt she'd be chatting on the pavement with a take-out cup of coffee. However, if I was ever out for the night in a pub and Chris, Gwyneth, and Simon walked in, I would probably die and go to heaven. That would probably be seeing the three top people I'd love to meet...though I'd go through a HUGE moral dilemma on whether or not to say anything to them while they were enjoying their evening .

What We Know Will Be On LP5
Yeah! It was on the South Bank Show... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJl05UUtFzY]YouTube - Wedding Bells - Coldplay[/ame] I think that if anything, LP5 will have a Middle Eastern flair in the same way that VLVOD had a Spanish flair like they were saying...meaning not overpowering, but one or two tricks taken from that style of music. I think it would be really cool, but I too am hoping for a real "back to basics" sort of style, simple and classic like Parachutes.

What We Know Will Be On LP5
Like others have said, some of these sound more like Britney Spears song titles than Coldplay titles: Hook Up? Boyfriend? Lucky Sevens? Some of them just don't sound like Coldplay at all to me: Car Kids, Alien Radio, Sex Violence...however, this is what I said when we got the VLVOD song titles. I was concerned that some of the titles weren't "Coldplay" enough, like "Prospekt's March" and "Cemetaries of London" and "Death and All His Friends," and look how that turned out :D. I doubt we're going to see 95% of the songs that appear on this list anyway, much like the way it happened with VLVOD. Some songs will be thrown away, some will morph into each other, and some will get different titles. That said: OMG I LOVE WEDDING BELLS SO MUCH :bigcry:.

Gwyneth...
Aww, happy birthday, Gwyneth :nice:. Chris is actually around to celebrate it with her, too :D.

Random Coldplay thoughts...
In one of the shops at my new university, there's an ad on the wall (one of those light up ones with the plastic over it) with a very old picture of Coldplay on it, saying something like "fact: Coldplay played in East Anglia many times in 2001." It's advertising some venue that is notorious for having small bands play there that later become very famous, but one day I was just in the shop and was like "hey, that dude looks like Jonny when he was young...oh wait, that IS Jonny". [/very random]

19-Sep-2009: Wembley Stadium, London - Tickets, Previews, Meetups, Reviews/Photos
Something else I forgot: as we were walking out, still in the stadium, everyone in that hallway started doing the Viva chant. I know that happens after like every Coldplay gig I've been to in the past two years, but this was somehow different: the walls were shaking with how loud everyone was just in the hallways. I wanted to cry, it was so awesome. Thanks about the review, everyone :nice:. I think it's terrible, but someday when I've calmed down about it, hopefully I can write it up more eloquently :D.

19-Sep-2009: Wembley Stadium, London - Tickets, Previews, Meetups, Reviews/Photos
OK, everyone, here are the best of my photos . Videos are to come, but the bass levels were so loud that the sound got fucked in a lot of them. And I'm bellowing so loudly it's embarrassing, but they'll trickle in. As for my story/review, I blogged it HERE. I think I'll copy and paste it here under spoilers, since it's so long: I wish I could have written that all out better, but I'm still too excited to put my deeper emotions about it in words. I also thought that meeting everyone was amazing: I wish we could do that all the time. There's something about being with people that you don't have to explain your obsession to, or tone down your Coldplay nerdiness for...my only wish is that I had more of a chance to talk to some of you: I hated that we were spread out over so many queues. I also wish I could have gone to the pre- and post-meet-ups...I'm seriously kicking myself for not being able to go, even though it's no one's fault. Anyway, I miss Coldplay and I miss you all. Here's to hoping we can all do it again sometime in the not-so-distant future .

'Picnic At The Park' - post-concert Coldplayer Meet Up - RUSSELL SQUARE, LONDON (20 SEPT 2009 @ 1PM)
I wish I could have stayed for longer :bigcry: Turns out I got screwed over by the train anyway: had to go to fricking INGATESTONE to get it, via a coach from Newbury Park, not Liverpool Street like I thought. Bloody hell.

Is there going to be a special section of the gallery for pictures just of US? Like when we were queueing etc? I reallllly want to steal some of those pics, especially the group one Ian took at the end :D

Review, photos, and videos tomorrow, probably in the form of link to blog, link to Facebook album, and embedded YouTube vids :D. I'm soooo zonked I can't be coherent. After the South Bank show, I'm passing out. BUT OH MY GOD, NOTHING COULD BE BETTER AND NOTHING EVER WAS. :dead:
