  1. It's better quality than any I've seen so far :nice:. Thanks .
  2. I know I mostly use this thread to steal wallpapers, but... Looore, is this a high-quality pic? Can I ask if you could post it/direct me to where you found it? :shy:
  3. Ahh Jenika, I remember when you were talking about applying to college! If you don't mind my asking, where are you going to go?
  4. It's my last night in America! :freak: Thanks for all the help, everyone :nice:.
  5. I think they cut it off right after the piano intro last time. I remember screaming at the TV and pissing off my roommate.
  6. AHH YES, THEY'RE BROADCASTING LIJ THIS TIME ! Well, part of it. Better than last time.
  7. This Yellow performance is SOOO good. Makes up for the sub-par rendition of VLV at the begining. Ooh, I hope they show LIJ.
  8. I learned that the hard way...Vista was fine for about 8 months for me after I got it, and then it started to basically shit in it's own house, and it gets worse and worse and more clogged with junk as time goes by. I stuck up for it for a long time, too, but now I'm just looking forward to Windows 7 hopefully fixing all the bugs...even though I don't really like the redesigned taskbar.
  9. Watching SNL nowwww  I hope in this replay they don't cut off their third song--LIJ .
  10. Aww, so nice of them to tell us :wacky:. I'd like to add for everyone else's information, the replay of Coldplay on SNL (in 2008) is on on Saturday (tomorrow) on NBC starting at 11:30 PM :D. At least, I'm pretty sure that's true...if my TV thingy is correct :uhoh:.
  11. You didn't, but I hate when people act like their opinions are hard facts, and that's the vibe I got. I may be mistaken.
  12. I've tried similar things before, and paid for them, and nothing has made the remotest bit of difference. Have you tried that before? Is it trustworthy? Basically, I'm waiting for Windows 7 like a kid waits for Christmas. And I'm going Mac next, I don't care how much my dad complains :P.
  13. I saw Star Trek again today, simply because it's less than a mile from my house and $2. And because it was kick-ass, of course. Oh, well I guess I better stop saying it, and I guess I better change my opinion on the film :dozey:.
  14. My computer was just serviced to fix its ridiculous slowness, and it's now WORSE. I'm at the end of my rope, I don't know what to do anymore :bigcry:.
  15. The visa doesn't cost THAT much, and it's basically a one-time expense anyway (but a total, total bitch to obtain). What tests do you need to take? Maybe the Australian way of doing things is different than ours, but I didn't have to take any sorts of tests, nor have I heard of anyone that has had to. I'll be at UEA in Norwich starting in September . However, I'll be in London as of Monday! :freak:
  16. Hot Fuzz has a much more layered screenplay, if you ask me. It's one of those films where you discover new jokes and gags almost every time you watch it. Shaun is also brilliant, and has a much better storyline, but I just like the overall finished product in Hot Fuzz better, but I know the rest of the world disagrees with me.
  17. Basically one of my favorite movies of all time. Have you seen Hot Fuzz? For some reason I love that one more :wacky:.
  18. RUSHMORE ROCKS. Yeah, I think a lot of the diehards are somewhat pissed about the movie, but from a writing and originality standpoint, I think they pulled that off very well. Also, the fact that Simon Pegg was in it made it about 4 million times better, even though it didn't even need to be.
  19. Finally, finally saw Star Trek. OMG SO EPIC :dead:. It made me wish I was a diehard Trekkie and knew everything about the Star Trek universe. I would say 7.5-8/10. Even the critics liked it! :D
  20. I can never ever get rid of anything, namely clothes. I'm like "oh but I wore this to THIS important event" or whatever...I'm ridiculously, unhealthily sentimental. I tend to wear about the same fifteen outfits or something, but my closet is bursting.
  21. This is probably the most adorable thing I've ever seen :wacky:.
  22. I bought a really long tank which is the exact length of the shirt-dress (really, it's basically just a long tshirt), so that helps, but I feel like it looks a bit weird on the top, where you can see that it's a tank underneath and your arms are still pink and a completely different color than the rest of the shirt. Whatever, I guess everyone's doing it :P.
  23. ^That book wasn't really my style, but I loved it anyway :D. Sometimes you need some mush. I'm seeing the movie on Friday. I'm currently reading A Short History of London for summer reading. It's much better than some of the other things I was supposed to have read: I really am not a big fan of classics at all, so Mrs. Dalloway was a drag, and I'm not even bothering with Shakespeare.
  24. I absolutely hate driving in cities, and if I don't know where I'm going that's somewhere out of my usual home areas, I like to have someone with me to direct me and read directions. I really need to get a GPS. However, if I've been somewhere once, as passenger or driver, I can get there again no problem. I also am usually weirdly nervous when I have a passenger. I feel like I'm a good driver, but when someone else is in the car, I feel like they're watching my every move, and that makes me do more stupid things, like cutting people off or parking badly.
  25. This made me crack up. I love what a character Chris is :wacky: Lovely interview, too :nice:.
