I have to admit, I'm not too keen on crabs and lobsters. Its the legs and stuff I think... especially when I'm walking on a beach and I see one next to my feet I'll move out of the way for fear of it nipping me :laugh1: But sea life in general, I'm fine with. I hate mayflies though (daddy long legs). Especially in autumn when they all start breeding. Yuck. I was trying to cook some spaghetti a few moths back and one was trapped in the kitchen and I spent 30 minutes trying to dodge the damn thing every time it flew near me :laugh3: And I ended up slightly singeing myself as I skimmed my hand against the cooking pot. Then one of the girls came downstairs and saw me dodging it, so she gave me the :dozey: look and grabbed it and took it outside. So embarrassing :laugh1:

Definitely agree with both of you on that topic. Although I would usually say I'm fine with the police carrying firearms, I think recent incidents such as the shooting of that innocent brazilian guy (De Menez?) just goes to show that the police are just too trigger happy, especially when a shoot-to-kill policy is introduced. The guy was basically murdered in front of dozens of people, on nothing but a suspicion that he might have been a terrorist. Personally I thought that was an example of blatant racism, but thats just my opinion and that might have not actually have had anything to do with it. But its definitely not good to have a policy that basically tells its citizens to fight fire with fire... and I would have thought with all the recent massacres over there that it would give the government a wake up call so they finally realise where they're going wrong. Although personally I think I might be dead before they ban firearms in america unfortunately. But yes. These new coins are just too cool. It also shows that we're not going to take on the euro anytime soon, since they're hinting at a shelf life of at least 20 years. Although I'm kind of neutral on the whole euro thing, I agree that keeping the £ does make us quite unique.

^Its just mindless speculation, so I wouldn't worry about it. Although many of the Violet Hill comments come from me, but still. Theres no hard proof that they will decide to make it available any time soon.

Wow that must have taken ages to explain! I did actually read it all, and it wasn't boring... its interesting to explain an otherwise nonsensical mess of things (I'm talking about what my room is like... yours is far from messy ;) ) Your half room is so cool though!
