  1. It'd better! I'm sure someone will have their recording / streaming equipment ready when it comes on...
  2. From that link: 5.05-6 All Time Low "Dear Maria, Count Me In" (Hopeless/ILG) Coldplay "Violet Hill" (Capitol) The Offspring "Hammerhead" (Columbia) Shinedown "Devour" (Atlantic) Sick Puppies "What Are You Looking For" (Virgin) Thats good enough for me, even if it isn't being released that day. Thats only like 2 and a half weeks!
  3. Haha, freaked me out for a minute too.
  4. There is no studio version of Pour Me, to my knowledge. I don't know where he got his information from.
  5. London, UK April 17, 2008 The powers-that-be tell me that this CD was available for my car stereo in April / May 2006, depending on how well my memory serves me. We'll try to get the damn thing to work despite the collection of scratches it has on its surface... - 'Best Of Coldplay or A Collection of 18 Coldplay Tracks Worth Listening To' What If Clocks Fix You Gravity (Live) In My Place In The Sun (feat. Michael Stipe) Don’t Panic Ring Of Fire (Live) Politik The Scientist Trouble The Hardest Part Yellow Everything’s Not Lost Swallowed In The Sea Brothers & Sisters God Put A Smile Upon My Face No More Keeping My Feet On The Ground - I realise that if I were to make another 18 track compilation of Coldplay tracks today, it would not include tracks such as "The Hardest Part" or "Fix You". It would probably not include many live tracks like this one, either. Semy PS - I have nothing to do with Prospekt... honest!
  6. Just, for me. Then its really hard. Harder than it already is.
  7. During my random travels around the house, I stumbled across one of my old Coldplay compilation CDs (which I had burned because it was at a time when I didn't have and MP3 player): It reminded me that I spent too much time decorating custom CDs, and that I had a strange habit of signing every single CD I burned. Weirdness. So I'm about to pop this into my laptop, because it will be interesting to see what my favourite Coldplay tunes were this time 2 years ago. I'll write up a tracklisting once we've finally discovered what it actually is.
  8. Stop giving me heart attacks! :bigcry: On a more serious note, no real hints have been given by the band themselves. But judging by the way the new site may look, I would have thought it is going to be colourful, perhaps with a paint/artist theme.
  9. Can you give the link to actual article? In any case, I hope its true. Plus, I havn't heard those quotes from Chris Martin before. Especially the 'bloodhound' comment.
  10. Hang on... I checked the link to see if it was reliable information, but the only thing I found was a guy called 'TGAC' saying this: "Goes for adds on May 6th." Now I must be missing something here, because I wouldn't call this reliable information at all. And for me, that sentence makes no sense. So why is everyone celebrating already?
  11. Thanks, this is interesting. I'm pretty sure the bottom one is Postcards From Far Away too. I might try to Photoshop it to make it clearer. To fill in the time, of course.
  12. Haha, tell me about it :freak:
  13. These are lyrics for a song that I have yet to record properly. If I were ever to make an album, this would be the closer - its probably the most atmospheric song I've ever done in all my 8 months of trying to make music. Its called "The Edge" but the name might change in time. The Edge - Semy Ingle We sail the seven seas, together 'Till our journey is complete When will we reach the place, where, the water flows out into space We’re falling off the edge x4 The speakers tell us how, to live here They want us underground We’re living in a world, where tomorrow Is the best day of the year Each, time, we fall into a black hole there’s another On the other side There, was, ether flowing through us, before we saw Space and time We’re falling off the edge (multitracked) x8 Condensation on your window pane See the snow, it's getting cold again Seeking shelter from the rain again [Help is on the way.] x4
  14. Yeah, the way I know is just going by the fact that the link was a youtube one. If a song was really leaked, it would be as an AUDIO file, not a video, and it would be through a torrent or something. It actually needs to be leaked for a good few hours before someone bothers to make a youtube video out of it, and in that few hours of it being leaked, we would certainly know about it. So yes, NEVER trust a youtube link when someone is telling you its a leaked song!
  15. I knew this was fake as soon as it appeared, haha. There's going to be a lot of angry coldplayers, though :dozey:
  16. Hahaha, oh I can't wait until that day comes. :P
  17. Haha, the same thought crossed my mind too actually, its just that I was thinking about all the weird e-looks I'd be getting if I posted it here :P It did remind me instantly of the Matrix when I first read it, though.
  18. Hahaha! Your mum is starting to sound more and more legendary every time you mention her :P You're right about the cruelty though, I can't imagine how much crap their children would have to go through during their high school years. They'd have to put up with all the Coldplay jokes, as well as being picked on because of their names. Argh, not nice. And glad you like the song, Ravrat
  19. Hell yes! Can't wait for this  *goes delving for some more info*
  20. I actually caught "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" on TV last night at dinner ( I havn't seen it for years, by the way) and there was a question "what did Gwyneth Paltrow name her child in 2006?". The contestant got the answer right, and afterwards Chris Tarrant (the host) made a comment about her husband being in Coldplay and the fact that she named the other one Apple. There was an uneasy pause and then he said "fantastic." or something to that effect, where he was obviously being sarcastic. My brother burst out laughing... I just put on the :dozey: face. So there you have it.
  21. Aww, well thanks for the compliments Nina and Sandy! :nice:
  22. Ah sorry, I forgot about that. Silly me
  23. Thanks for the info! Oh wow... so maybe, we'll be hearing it in 9 days after all?! :stunned: Argh, I need some recording equipment.
