1. This thread is so flattering, haha. Yeah everyone here is so nice, it doesn't really feel right to list specific people... but here are the people who come to mind: Chelsea Tracie Briggins Mimixx Annie Justin Rachael Anna 'melanieau' (havn't talked to you in a while though) 'Age Six Racer' seems cool. Although he's only just joined. And there's plenty of others of course! There is nearly no one I dislike on the board, and I certainly don't hate anyone.
2. Umm... well its between Nice Dream, Bones and Bulletproof. I think I'll go for Bullet Proof. And sulk is a real shame, it was one of my favourites.
3. Oh I see, well I take it you're an avid concert goer then? I remember you said that you went to one of those intimate travis gigs... that must have been fantastic. Haha, I'll remember that Grace :P I'm glad you like it anyway. I doubt your "morning hair" is worse than mine Chelsea, haha! I woke up the other day and walked straight into the kitchen without checking the mirror first, just to get a glass of water. One of my housemates was in there and when she saw me her face was something like this: :wreck: So I proceeded to go to the bathroom mirror and I realised that most of my hair was over on the right side of my head, and a weird mohecan type thing going on down the middle  Oh you must post a picture of that Chelsea, if you get the chance. Haha, I remember that SOTD scene. Have you got used to them pronouncing Z as Zed yet? :P
4. ^ No way! Your's looks nicely trimmed and everything. I mean I don't know what your hair is like now but if thats a new picture of you then the hair is obviously fine :P I personally like too grow mine... its just that I don't pull off that look very well. Those pictures are really cool by the way... it looked like it snowed heavier than it did here. And are those laminated concert tickets I see on your wall there? :D
5. Ah, well its all melted away now and I didn't really have any fun with it per say... but I did go out to the nearest high-street and have lunch to celebrate my mum's birthday while it was still quite thick on the ground, so that was quite nice. And Chelsea, our weather has been all over the place too. It was actually fairly mild yesterday and early last week it was actually warm, so when I heard reports of snow fall floating around I wasn't really inclined to believe it. I just hope it doesn't snow on my birthday :dozey: (actually I'll admit that would be pretty cool). Aww, thanks for the compliments though  I really don't think I look that great there though... especially the hair, which is a constant nightmare these days. And keep in mind this was like 25 mins after i woke up (I am NOT a morning person at all). So yes, if you're noticing some zombie type traits, you know why.
6. Haha, you could say that. What kind of mugger actually gives back the money he's just stolen?
7. Nice to meet you too Magda :nice:
8. Mugging huh? Unfortunately I've been there. I'm just luckily I wasn't alone, and that I personally wasn't mugged. I remember me and 3 of my friends were walking through a park in Bromley. We made the mistake of walking down a fairly hidden path next to a lake and were subsequently followed by a tall mixed raced guy with black leather gloves. Basically We heard him shouting in the distance behind us, and one of my friends started sprinting. The rest of us were confused and we turned around to see this tall guy with gloves sprint after him. We run after them wondering what the hell was happening and when we got to a clearing, my friend was emptying his pockets. We kept our distance and co operated, knowing that he could very well have been armed. The strange thing was that when we approached them the mugger turned to us and started saying "you havn't called the cops have you?" Of course the answer was a resounding "No, of course not" to which he asked the same question 3 more times before being satisfied. He then took £25 of my friends money... but get this. Before he sprinted off again he said "actually I only need the £20" and subsequently gave a £5 note back to my friend. He warned us not to call the police once more, and then he was off. The scary thing is that one of my friends says he's seen the very same mugger around Bromley at bustops and stuff at least 3 times since the incident, one of the times he was laughing and smiling with another passenger. Luckily the mugger didn't recognise my friend but I think he said they made eye contact on several occasions. Just goes to show that you don't have to look or act a perticular way to be a criminal, and thats quite a scary thought I think. Needless to say we've stayed well away from that part of the park since.
9. I know! Yesterday there were no signs that it was going to snow at all, except for being a little cold. So I couldn't imagine it snowing today either. And thanks! I'm Semy :nice: Whats your name?
10. So after being awoken at 8:20 this morning (and wondering how I was keeping my eyes open) I opened my curtains and was subsequently blinded by the sheer brightness of something we havn't had properly this winter / spring, until now. And yes, January did have April showers this year, so I guess its not so surprising that we're now getting the snow so late into the year. I proceeded to take a short series of pictures after managing to adjust my eyes... Haha, frozen towels anyone? And then there's these two of me standing by my window... since I havn't been in any snow related picture for a good 3 years or so. And yes, my hair is really that bad in the mornings
11. Congrats!
12. I think thats a fantastic idea! No pressure, of course :P I have a camera at hand now, but I'm not sure about a tour... for one thing, my room is really boring (along with the rest of my house really :dozey:) But we'll see.
13. Its the same with me and Black Star... I listened to it earlier and I love it! I nearly voted Bulletproof though, I suppose i'll be voting that next round. Its so hard to vote songs off on this album, though. It feels like I'm betraying them! :laugh1:
14. Oh my god, why is sulk getting all those votes? Its one of my favourites on there! This is craziness. Sulking over Sulk seems to be rather fitting though, haha. Damn it though.
15. Haha, can't get enough of that phrase  I take it you bought the low fat variety then this time around? I almost forgot about this thread. How is that possible?
16. Before I go, here's the interview at normal speed: http://www.sendspace.com/file/3k4ciu I figured out that it sounds slow in Internet Explorer, but it plays fine in Firefox. Enjoy! :nice:
17. I'm just thinking there HAS to be something next week, even if its not Violet Hill. And anyway it would make sense to post the tracklisting first before anything else. Its just the fact that it was a little TOO quiet on coldplay.com this week.
18. I'm looking forward to downloading Violet Hill next week. This is just the calm before the storm. Well, it damn well better be.
19. I vote Black Star. BTW, I really think Street Spirit should move on.
20. Love this album. I'll need to give a listen to a few before I make up my mind.
21. Hell yeah! Its good to hear Chris is alive and well. And he does sound a lot more mature, doesn't he? And that X&Y comment about plagerising themselves... theres definitely some truth in that. That low voice thing was hilarious though.
22. ^I've seen similar ones to that, but never that one. Maybe its something to do with living in somewhere like Canterbury :dozey:
23. Yes! I was blown away when I first got into them as well. I don't know why they're not that well known. I still havn't heard their first album though. I'll need to hunt for that.
