What are you thinking right now?
Blab, blab, blab blab bla bla bla, baa baa baa. Then Blab blab blap said the floopy mattress from the planet of Floopy Mattresses. Marvin was 30 billion times more intelligent than a floopy mattress, but that was an underestimate. (had to throw that one in there in honor of Doug Adams):)

What are you listening to?
I get these random songs in my head for some reason - like there's a music player up there that pops in a song at some unexpected time. One fine day, you will find your way, across the river, across the river...

Hm, Silver Linings Playbook, I think I need to read the book!:laugh3: I did see Lincoln about a week ago, I would rate it an 8.5 on the Richter scale.

Yes you're right, I forgot that he inherited the tool business, it was the thing that always made him money, and he had others running it (I would imagine whilst he chased the babes from the silver screen). Yes, I recall the Playboy article on Howard Jr, he did a good amount of directing, don't recall the films being all that successful though. I think when the Senate ran him through the mill, perhaps that wore him down a lot. Quite a few hospital ships built during the war years, someone said that was one of his biggest successes in terms of wealth. Anyhow, concrete ships and drill bits built the Hughes Empire, plus a few aircraft and helicopters and films and such, and without a doubt he's a fascinating individual, and if I get the chance, I'll check out the film.

Would you like to live 150 years?
I keep thinking of that Carol Burnette Show skit where Tim Conway is the 100-year-old man. :laugh3: I know, maybe one could be healthy and spry at 100, but I'm sitting here with Edison just a few feet away, and he is lonely! Clearly, he needs the comfort of another 100-year-old, so hopefully if this happens, it will yield more people in the same age bracket, so they have company and something familiar to talk about.

14 Reasons Daylight Saving Time Needs To End Forever
relatives and relativity, time we mark in minutes and hours and days and years, yet time is merely the hum of billions of strings in the universe, like a planet wagging a tongue at us, and still, here we are! Spring leap ahead, probably could go without these days, though there still is that energy claim - I think we ought to reduce it gradually, like 10 minutes a year, and measure the effects to know if it's the right move to make.:P

Sorry about the delay, I missed your reply somehow, hope you're enjoying San Francisco. ? I thought you lived in Jolly England, or thereabouts? Someday I will have to visit, maybe when I'm rich and famous, or at least can afford a ride on a clipper ship.;)

The Coldplaying Pub.
Arthur sync beats for jazz, so this might best be classed as rock or pop, or pop rocks; it sizzles a little. ;)

I was thinking how great a change can come from one person, especially when that one person is the Queen! http://gma.yahoo.com/queen-elizabeth-fights-discrimination-114804600--abc-news-topstories.html The chimes of Westminster will be ringing in a new era, in many a land with the freshness of freedom and equality for all!! :bliss::bliss::bliss:

Ask the Oracle on Coldplay.com (Now in session!)
Hmm, on the shyness issue, I too have that problem, though it comes and goes. I think it's mostly a matter of feeling that an audience may be expecting perfection, then all the thoughts run through our heads of what errors we might make, and all the adrenaline then makes our brains get fuzzy, so the only time I ever did well in front of a crowd of more than two was when I practiced many many times, and worked out some of the bugs. Nothing's ever perfect, so aim for improvement over perfection, practice, and you will do well. Gosh, what would happen if I had to perform on stage with like 10,000's of audience members all expecting a good show? It's all in the prep., do the best one can do, and imagine... synchronicity of spirit in the moment. Everyone wants everyone to do well up on stage, so you're among friends, it ought to work out.

I was going to ask when the planetary troup's planning on descending here? That, or I might have to ask the Prince of Wales to ruffle a few feathers!;)

The Coldplaying Pub.
re: pub rel. Pardon Moi? Confuzzed I am.. Anyhow, just working on basic piano skills, trying to whip up some new tunes from the creative chaos. For use in pubs, pub and grubs, sand bars, bars on sand, bars of sand, etc..

Hmm, interesting. For a guy who made his fortune on oil well drill bits, he did all right in some of his other ventures, but a movie about well drilling equipment just wouldn't be all that exciting - a little too real, a little too dull, even though they're diamond studded. Good think they went with his aviation interests. ;)

Random Coldplay thoughts...
Remarkable, I feel you must be a kindred spirit. I often wonder how many unspoken senses there are in this universe of ours. Anyhow, time here in the Floridian penninsular land calls me to feed Florence, and then off to the brarie' perhaps later. Cheers!

I can't understand why we see something natural and normal as somehow wrong? Our language is still Puritanical, needs a little updating. Any suggestions?

Thanks - at least I'm not alone then! Time heals all wounds, and in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make. Funny world we live in - I miss winter here! :laugh3: This place is like surreal in endless summer; palm trees, swimming pools, golf carts. ;) Keep looking ahead to the vacation!!
