:( Hopefully I'm wrong, but RiR is a long shot, since they played last year and they already got Muse. Oh man :(

Why you shouldn't strip at a Coldplay concert
And one would think dancing, head-banging, jumping and singing along at the top of his voice were enough

Learn Assorted Languages With Assorted Coldplayers
Speaking of French: http://leconjugueur.lefigaro.fr/ - conjugation tables ---------- For those learning Chinese: http://www.hanzigrids.com/ - Creates tables for students to practise word order (in conjonction with online dictionaries that provide flash animations with characters' stroke order); generates a pdf file; registration needed http://www.chinese-tools.com/tools/pinyin-editor.html - useful to type diachritics of pinyin, specially third and first tones, which aren't available in avarage keyboards http://www.archchinese.com/chinese_english_dictionary.html - online dictionary; provides animations of stroke order as well as pronunciation http://translate.google.com.br/#zh-CN/zh-TW/ - Google translation tool; useful because you can type pinyin (without stroke order) and select ideograms; transform simplified characters in traditional ones (this specific link is for this purpose); provide sounds - specially useful when you type whole sentences

The Buckland Religion~Official Thread
Oh thank you guys. I feel so ignorant :disappointed: Thanks Hulsey for pointing out that there was something different in the song!

Did Coldplay gain or lose fans with Mylo Xyloto?
That's right in whatever place, forum or not. As a matter of fact, that was what Dee was doing, expressing her opinion, which is in disagreement in relation to what a lot of people said (though I'm not saying that debates are made of people disagreeing with others just for the sake of it). However, that doesn't mean it's right to be elitist and state that your music taste is better and that you're a "true fan" whereas others aren't.

The Buckland Religion~Official Thread
:surprised: I didn't know that either :disappointed: edit - Can anybody explain it further to me? I can't see Jonny properly, but Guy seems to be playing bass. I don't understand :disappointed:

Gift for Christmas/maternity leave?
Maybe, you could give her something she could use in her job (unless she's picky about it and would rather choose it herself) or something (music-themed) for her baby. Also, write her a nice card saying how you think she helped you (I assume it's true, since you want you to give her a gift) and thank her for it :)

C.A.T.S
Yep, except it looks as if it's planning to tear your eye out :P Unless you find that adorable :anxious: *glances at her avatar and quietly backs away*

A Christmas cat for your cat thread: I was going to post a really cute kitten, but I thought this one fits the mood of the avatars better :P

Secret Santa 2012
^^12/3 = 3rd December. In American English, month can be placed before the date. A bit confusing if in your written language it's the other way round :dizzy2:

Random Coldplay thoughts...
Got the DVD (well, placed the order, to be more precise) :D I paid a lot more than I could have if had bought it in the Black Friday, but well, screw it. It will probably arrive in time for Christmas :D

Chris' Guitar Model (a.k.a Martin's Martin)
Sounds fair to me :) Sorry for spamming the thread.

Chris' Guitar Model (a.k.a Martin's Martin)
It became a sticky thread in the past days. It wasn't in the beginning.
-
Chris' Guitar Model (a.k.a Martin's Martin)
As a matter of fact, it was bumped. Anyway, updating it amounts to getting the thread on the top of the page, which is the same thing of bumping it. coldplay_are_forever, good luck with your quest

Chris' Guitar Model (a.k.a Martin's Martin)
Consider this year's review thread. It was in the first page, but bumped some times until the list was complete. A thread being in a lost page is not the only reason to bump a thread.
-
Chris' Guitar Model (a.k.a Martin's Martin)
Yeah, but maybe it went unnoticed, even if it's in the first page. coldplay_are_forever just wants an answer. Maybe, you'd have more luck in the instrument section?

What made you happy today?
My computer working again. I fucking lost all my files, but I'm glad I didn't have to trash it. Besides, the important files are all in my e-mail. I think if I had asked for professional help, I'd get my files as well, but seeing that I can't spend any money now, that's the best deal I could get.

[12-Dec-2012] Chris Martin @ 12.12.12 - The Concert For Sandy Relief, Madison Square Garden, New Yor
I thought it was a nice touch to dress something special for a special occasion. For me, the suit didn't come off as 'rich and pretentious', but as 'I want every detail on what I'm going to do to be special, so it matches how important that occasion is'. Also, I think the fight for equality (be it in a social and economical level or in the context of people losing pretty much everything they have) should be not by lowering standards, but elevating them. If you're fighting against hunger, for example, you don't have to starve, but make sure that everybody has access to decent and fair food. That said, it was just a suit. No need to create a fuss about it.
