All this so they could announce more American tour dates?? I'm disappointed as I thought they might be headed some place that hadn't gotten the Viva tour yet. :(

The Coldplay Messenger
LITii RELEASED, GRAMMY/BRITS ON COLDPLAY.COM LIFE IN TECHNICOLOR ii OUT NOW Hello again. We begin with the news that Coldplay's latest single, Life In Technicolor ii, is out this week. The track is available on 7-inch vinyl and digital bundle, both of which feature a cracking new track called The Goldrush. Click here to buy it from iTunes or here to get the 7-inch from HMV.com. You can also watch the puppet-tastic video for the track on Coldplay.com here. VOTE FOR COLDPLAY IN THE BRITS Earlier this week, voting opened for two of the four Brit Awards which Coldplay are nominated for; Best British Live Act and Best British Single. If you'd like to vote for the band, then head over to www.brits.co.uk/vote. You'll need to register, but it only takes a few seconds and you can opt-out of future contact. Thanks folks. GRAMMY AND BRITS COVERAGE ON COLDPAY.COM Head over to Coldplay.com this coming Sunday (8th Feb) and on Wednesday 18th February, when we'll be offering live, behind-the-scenes updates from the Grammys and Brit Awards respectively. Join us to find out if the band win anything, who they're sitting next to and that sort of thing. Should be fun. EXCLUSIVE JONNY INTERVIEW Since we were last in touch, Coldplay.com has posted an exclusive interview with Mr Jonny Buckland, in which he discusses the fact that the band have been back in the studio with Brian Eno. Click here to read it. While you're on the site, check out The Oracle's lastest answers to your questions, plus a couple of revealing new blogs from Roadie #42. WIN A SIGNED THING FROM THE GRAMMYS We're not exactly sure what the prize to our latest Messenger competition is, but when the band go to the Grammys on Sunday, they've promised to grab a souvenir of some sort, sign it and bring it back to Coldplay HQ for us to send to one of you. It may be napkin, it may be a programme, heck it may even be a Grammy (though that's probably a little unlikely). If you'd like to win our mystery prize, email [email protected] before Wednesday 18th February. Until next time... The Coldplay Messenger
