1. It was fun! But now it's all over. Anyways, we played, and we saw the teams, and then geeked around the parks like mad band geeks should. :D And in response to mycdplayerisbroke, I play clarinet and drumline stuff.
2. If anyone here is in the area near Disneyland, and is capable of coming down to California Adventure tommorow, our band is performing there at around 2:00 for the teams competing in the Rose Bowl. If you can't make it, that's cool. And if this post means absolutely nothing to you, don't worry. It's just my insane ramblings.
3. I got...a turntable, a Space Invaders jacket, a lava lamp, Starbucks stuff [i'm an addict :laugh2:], Red Dwarf on dvd, and a book called U2 Live.
4. *just found this thread* Damien is fantastic! I love his cover of "Creep". Usually cover songs are a bit blasphemous to me, but he managed to pull off both Radiohead and U2 covers, so he earns major points from me. Plus, the accent is undeniably sexy. :D
5. Ah....I wish we had a jazz band...

River - Joni Mitchell It’s coming on christmas They’re cutting down trees They’re putting up reindeer And singing songs of joy and peace Oh I wish I had a river I could skate away on But it don’t snow here It stays pretty green I’m going to make a lot of money Then I’m going to quit this crazy scene I wish I had a river I could skate away on I wish I had a river so long I would teach my feet to fly Oh I wish I had a river I could skate away on I made my baby cry He tried hard to help me You know, he put me at ease And he loved me so naughty Made me weak in the knees Oh I wish I had a river I could skate away on I’m so hard to handle I’m selfish and I’m sad Now I’ve gone and lost the best baby That I ever had Oh I wish I had a river I could skate away on I wish I had a river so long I would teach my feet to fly Oh I wish I had a river I made my baby say goodbye It’s coming on christmas They’re cutting down trees They’re putting up reindeer And singing songs of joy and peace I wish I had a river I could skate away on
7. A cover of "Creep" by Damien Rice.
8. Well, I'm from Riverside, CA...but the artists I mentioned were just from around the whole "Inland Empire" area.
9. Hmmmm.... Musicians from our sad little area: Alien Ant Farm, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Etta James, Little Richard, Al Green, Frank Zappa, Sammy Hagar [i think...I'm not too sure on that one...] And no one outside of the state has heard of this area....
10. Does anyone have the Slane Castle DVD yet? I'm not going to say anything about it, because I don't want to ruin it for the people who haven't seen it, but it's fantastic.
11. Does anyone know what the video for "Go to Sleep" is on about? I've been trying to figure out the deep, philisophical meaning of it all, but then I thought that it might just be Thom being odd again. [aww...we still love you, Thom. ]
12. .....Coldplay, RHCP, AND U2 in one concert? At Slane?!? *dies*
13. Probably some Pumpkins, some Green Day, and the obligatory U2..... Does anyone remember "Flagpole Sitta" by Harvey Danger? I came across that song the other day and remembered how I loved it back in the day...
