  1. It's been a good Coldplay seeing year for you!:laugh3:
  2. Usually it's hard to get good visuals at the bowl because of the shape of the structure, so it's really cool they worked something out.
  3. So you do hate something more!:laugh3:
  4. Oh I agree. My biggest pet peeve with bands is when they have so many "lineup changes" they're not even the same band. There should be some kind of musical law that you need a majority of the original members to call yourselves the same band name.
  5. It was an interesting field of choices.:laugh3:
  6. In the event you are serious (which I doubt you are), such a thing would be impossible without some obviously visible modifications to the guitar. Furthermore, while I think it would be technilogically feasible, it would almost certainly impair the guitar's usefulness as a functional instrument. You'd know.
  7. Personally, I can hardly stand to watch it now that he's the host. (nothing against him per se, I just don't think he fits the show.)
  8. That's a new one, I've never seen concert tickets given away on TPiR. They did give away a Pedulla Bass once though.
  9. Not to take anything away from Coldplay fans (what with my being one and all:)), but no fans could possibly be more zealous on the internet than Muse fans. (and I don't mean that in an entirely good way:rolleyes:)
  10. Fair enough.
  11. It's only recently that I've begun to really appreciate Will. He plays so many things in their live show he's really becoming the band's key member now.
  12. I'm more impressed that he can play guitar while still playing the bass drum with his feet!:laugh3: Will is seriously like a one man band.
  13. Not at all. People wanting to know how the gigs go down is the whole reason these threads get traffic.:)
  14. Judging by this pic from the oxfam blog: They did manage to squeeze the X-stage into the pit!:D I imagine it should be no problem to also have the c stage up at the back. I've been to the bowl and the topmost tier of seating has at least as much space as where they put the c stage in arena shows.
  15. Only you can answer that.;)
  16. To be fair, they usually do stack the crowd pleasers at the start and finish (as do most bands, for that matter.)
  17. Perhaps they actually enjoy playing it:wink3:
  18. He's using at least 4 of them this tour. I'm not sure of the exact model or year, but they look vintage to me. In many of the photos from the current tour, you can see that the laquer finish is missing from the back of the necks. My guess is that they're probably 1970's strats, but it's really hard to tell since they're painted. Sorry I can't be of more help.:(
  19. They're not going to take it out (at least for awhile). For better or worse it is the current single.
  20. They all look fit now. Even Will who's still stocky, but much more muscular than before.
  21. I think that's the general consensus.:smug:
  22. I know they have their own trainer in the touring party for awhile, but I've never noticed the results before. They've also all said they don't really drink much any more, and I'm sure that helps as far as the fitness.;)
  23. Probably. He's looking in phenominal shape these days too, he's almost as buff as chris now.
  24. Different strokes for different folks. Personally, I've never cared for Politik (I know, shoot me), but Warning Sign is my favorite song ever. They can't please everyone I guess.:dozey:
  25. The scientist and Warning Sign are the only songs in the current set that he plays electric with a capo, so it has to be one of those.;)
