  1. Not available for me yet but I am getting really hyped hearing people's comments about Voodoo!! Edit: Just saw it's available on YouTube, gonna listen now! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  2. Yeah I've lowered my expectations a lot. it's a shame because after seeing the film in theaters I was so excited because the footage looks so great... And now I feel like I should just watch Glastonbury 2016 instead lol. No, I'll still watch it but just won't enjoy it as much. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  3. Wow a few things... First of all how did we miss this? It was streamed almost 3 years ago. Second, do you have a timestamp for Chris' vocals? And third, it does look like it will be Simon's vocals in the final version but at least we have that demo version with Chris. I just wish we had a final mix with him but I'll take what I can get. Also how sweet would it be to have all those stems?! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  4. Same here! Maybe we will see some more unreleased stuff after all. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  5. Exactly. The last studio release we had from Coldplay was Kaleidoscope EP and the next release is the live album. I think this should help some people with the confusion. This is not Coldplay, just something they are a part of.
  6. Yeah the "real music" argument never made sense to me. Everyone has different tastes and that's completely fine, but not calling something real music because you don't like it is invalid. I don't care for death metal or dubstep but that doesn't mean it's not real music. I myself used to strictly listen to Coldplay. I barely listened to other artists but I feel Coldplay opened up my ears to other sounds and genres. I'd still say that I prefer an alternative rock style but I definitely enjoy more of modern pop than I ever did. It's great having many different artists and genres to switch between. One minute I will be listening to an older Coldplay song and then I'll switch it up to Logic and then John Mayer and then maybe Taylor Swift. Once again I think the main reason a lot of people were disappointed was because we hyped it up to something it was never meant to be. This is a side project with the members of Coldplay collaborating with many different artists to experiment with different sounds for the sake of charity. I will admit at first listen I didn't care for the song but after listening to it a few more times, it's pretty good and I think it's perfect for what they are trying to do right now. It's got a good message and is perfect for the festival setting. Now will we see some other side projects with this "new band"? Who knows, but in my opinion more new music is never a bad thing. If you enjoy it great, if not then don't worry about it because it's not Coldplay. There is a reason why they came up with this new band idea. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  7. Those are some good points. Makes sense. Also I thought Voodoo was from the MX sessions? Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  8. That was my main point. I didn't mean to make it sound like I was complaining and hating on the song/project or what it stands for. I just think we hyped ourselves up too much that's all. I think it's a wonderful thing they're doing and have no problem with it whatsoever. As for the rest of the band I never meant that they don't contribute in other ways. Just that their roles in this project seam more behind the scenes, although we can't really judge because we haven't heard the three other songs yet. Truthfully what it comes down to for me is that there were a few hints that this project could be releasing old material. I usually don't read too much into speculation but it kind of made sense. I think having the anagram for Coldplay at the bottom of the picture was a bad decision. First of all, it's pretty easy to decipher that it says Coldplay, and secondly, that's what started the deciphering of the name. From there someone came up with Unsold Ideas and my mind was already set on it. Either way it's new music and I'm happy they're doing it for a great cause. And who knows, there still could be some more surprises up ahead. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  9. So why not just call this entire collaboration with all these different artists Los Unidades? Why did Coldplay have to create an alter ego just to get involved? I get trying to make it known that it's a separate project, but the media as well as fans are just saying it's a new Coldplay song with guest features. If anything, I would treat this as Chris collaborating with other artists for a one of charity thing. So why start this other group instead of just saying "oh btw, Chris has contributed to this charity EP". That would have made more sense imo. Anyway, we've yet to hear the other tracks, so maybe the boys will be more known on them, but I didn't hear any Will/Guy/Jonny on this first track at all. EDIT: Just read your post Lenny, I will give it another listen to pick out Jonny!
  10. So was it just a random coincidence that Car Kids was trademarked today and Paris also put up a post hinting towards it? Idk, some things still are not adding up.
  11. I think it's fine for what it is, but how could Guy let this go and not The Race?!
  12. Th That's all Parlophone's fault. I think if this was just announced without any hype, people wouldn't be as upset. But we hyped ourselves up with the hopes of hearing new and possibly old unreleased material.
  13. That was the last thing I thought I would wake up to this morning! Will be interesting to see what happens today. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  14. I love Will's vocals in this! Wish they kept them louder for the studio version. You can still hear him, but not nearly as good as you can in the live version.
  15. They said they would never release a greatest hits album, but I could see them doing it if they also gave some us some bonus unreleased tracks. Honestly I wouldn't mind that at all. I think it's a win win for everyone. The label gets there greatest hits album, the band give us more than just what we've already bought, and we get new songs. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  16. Probably in a few weeks :) Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  17. Hi, I actually closed the account because no one was able to use it. Someone on the thread can PM you a download though :) Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  18. Apparently :/ If the GS Live 2014 DVD is anything to go off of, it's not going to look the greatest. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  19. A rip of the AHFOD Film. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  20. So is the only HD version going to be on iTunes? If so I am afraid I am going to have to find a rip somewhere :( It's a shame because I would throw more money at a Blu-ray release. They are not really giving me a choice unfortunately. I don't feel that bad though because I have purchased the DVD. I will just watch the bonus features though and nothing else.
  21. Phil already confirmed it won't be but he said they will put it up on Coldplay.com sometime soon. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  22. I shared on my YT channel as well! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  23. I had that same exact thought. Kaleidoscope EP should have been this: 1. The Race 2. AICTAIY 3. Miracles (Someone Special) 4. ALIENS 5. Hypnotised (EP Mix) Either AICTAIY or The Race could have been track 1 depending on which one is a better opener. Hard to know because we haven't heard the entire song.
  24. Nice job setting it up! I will donate later and share on Twitter as well!
