I had the feeling about another single before the album release... cause violet hill was released too early for a single ;) I'M SO HAPPY it's going to become true!!!! and new tracks, WOW! Coldplay are spoiling us and that's so good! thanks! (the 'double album theory' is interesting but if it's true, I think the second one will have a completely different title cause the song DAAHF is already on Viva la vida... )

that's a very superficial review... has the writer heard the tracks? if not, he can't say nothing about the success... his psuedo-scientific way to demonstrate that long titles cause no success is very stupid... ... and chris martin said, they don't want to become bigger, but better

on EMI's german site they said it'll be commercially available, so people (I hope in many countries included mine) will be able to buy it in the shops... Also, in the EMI's article they call the b-side "Lost?" with question mark and then in the album tracklist they wrote "Lost!" with exclamation mark... just a typing error or 2 different versions?

is the song called "Lost?" or "Lost!" ?? anyway... it looks like a promo cd, not a proper single... I'm happy if I can hear another song included in the album.. but didn't they record many other songs like glass of water or rainy day? I hope they'll choose different songs as b-sides

actually the first song I thought of, as chris started singing, was California by phantom planet... it's strange I know... just my idea at the beginning, then it changed :P

I'm so happy chinese sleep chant will be on the album... I was a bit disappointed when I didn't see it on the official tracklist posted by prospekt cause the RS's review was very intriguing.... these days are so amazing... so many new things about coldplay and a new song in my mp3 player !!!!! could I ask for more? yeah... well.... for another song maybe, but at the moment it's enough :)

at the first listen I wasn't that surprised... it reminded me another song.. but then I've listened to it more and more times .... (right now it's the 7th time I'm hearing it) and I'm getting totally crazy for it!!!!!! at the concerts it will be a very emotional moment ;)

I think the cover will be a collage of different paintings... here I modified the idea of cover I posted in another thread (made with the screenshoots) adding more paintings... just to give an idea...

In the near future the only chance to hear something seems to be the 30sec long preview that they might add on FMQB.com.. At the moment it's possible to hear songs set to be aired on 21st and 28th april... so maybe next week, preview of violet hill will be available too... I'm going to check that site every day... Unless we won't see the video or listen to the entire song through secret ways.............

I think the author of this thread is right ;) he/she used so many words to say he/she is not a liar that it's impossible to believe he/she is a liar Thus, thanks for sharing you impressions and I'm really happy the song is wonderful!!!! :D of course, he/she can't tell us how he/she got it... I understand that

Probably some songs are catchy and they immediately liked it... and other ones need to be heard many times to be appreciated cause they are different, particular etc... the journalists could have listened to the songs only once... but actually there's no negative review and I think if the songs were really bad, they would write it...

that's an incredible news, if it's true... but normally singles are officially announced at least 2-3 weeks before, by the band I mean... aren't they? prospekt, where are you? ps: actually, I wouldn't generally trust the posts on other forums... it could be a april's fool in delay.....................
