Learn Assorted Languages With Assorted Coldplayers
There is a word in portuguese called "ti". Usually, the word used for "you" is você ("você" is derivated from "vossa mercê", "your mercy", just like spanish "usted" is derivated from "vuestra merced"), but, in the southern Brazil (and in the formal language), the most used as the second-person personal pronoun is "tu". And about "ti", when the second-person personal pronoun goes in the end of a sentence, like in "For you", we use "ti" instead of "tu", so "For You" is "Para ti". Is that the same thing in Serbian? EDIT: "Ti" is the dative case of "tu", and, according to Wiktionary, "Tebi" is the dative singular of "ti". So, it's the same thing, right?

Cat Stevens too accuses Coldplay from plagiarism
It's amazing the lack of originality (a.k.a. plagiarism) in the people that are saying that Coldplay plagiarized their music. It's always with Viva La Vida!

Cat Stevens too accuses Coldplay from plagiarism
Holy crap! They don't have nothing else to do than trying to piss CP off (and maybe [unfairly] get some money), do they?

The battle of your favourite albums of all time - Round 2
1 Radiohead - OK Computer vs. Coldplay - Parachutes 2 The Beatles - Revolver vs. Radiohead - Kid A 3 Radiohead - In Rainbows vs. Jeff Buckley - Grace 4 Muse - Origin of Symmetry vs. Oasis - Definitely Maybe 5 Justin Timberlake - Futuresex/Lovesounds vs. Fleet Foxes - Fleet Foxes 6 Keane - Hopes and Fears vs. Sigur Ros - Takk... 7 The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club vs. Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not 8 Coldplay - A Rush of Blood to the Head vs. U2 - Joshua Tree @howyousawtheworld I think you went too far when you called some people "morons", ignorant" and "they lost their dignity when they voted for Kid A". But I actually agree with you, no way Kid A > Revolver. No way Radiohead > The Beatles. Radioheadi.already.can.feel.the.rocks.being.trown.at.meis pure and only marketing, in my opinion. Luckily enough, we are free to like and dislike whatever you want (unless you live in Cuba, China or North Korea :laugh3:).

Do you often find yourself defending 21st century music?
The musical scene got worse, and it's pretty rare to deny that. There are no supergroups anymore, the closest we get to a supergroup is U2, which doesn't even get close to Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Genesis, Yes, The Who and so on... Still, there are great bands. The problem is that the good bands are alternativa and the lame bands are mainstream. But we have one GREAT advantage: The internet, where you can download everything that has been released in any media FOR FREE.

Viva Cassette?
HOLY CRAP! Do they still make cassettes? We have high quality 180g vinyl discs, CDs, SACDs, Gold CDs, DVD-A and they are still making CASSETTES?!?!? Actually, it seems to be official. Malasya really uses cassetes (yet it's hard to believe, since a CD-R is around R$ 0,75 [uS$ 0,30])

X&Y Appreciation Thread
X&Y is the best Coldplay album, period. It's a pity it's so underrated. Speed of Sound is the song that made me a Coldplay fan (I knew it for some years, but I didn't know the name or the band, then one day my father made me download X&Y), I'll be always grateful for this song.

4 PIRATE BAY MODS JAILED!!!!
Those are really bad news (TPB won't go down 'cause the case was against four individuals, not against The Pirate Bay website or against The Pirate Bay company). I have been watching this case since the first trial, and I can say that the prosecution made a poor, poor job. They got to the point where they managed to put in doubt the fact that there were torrent files in TPB servers. And yet they won... The big problem is that, if you don't think about the technical issues, TPB is actually guilty (they run a website that allows people to download copyighted movies/albums/TV shows), but when you think about the technical issues (they run a website, where the users may upload torrent files that will eventually link to the copyrighted files, which are hosted on the users' computers, whose only participation in this process is that they host the file and they are the torrent tracker, and remember that they can't control the torrent uploading), they are obviously not guilty, 'cause the Swedish law says that you can only be declared guilty of any ilegal transaction (drugs, stolen goods, COPYRIGHTED FILES) if you were aware of your condition in the transaction and you deliberately chose to be part of this transaction, which is not TPB's case. 1 year and $905,00, each. Either the judge is insane and not geek or RIAA bought the judge (maybe both).

What's the best song to get someone into Coldplay?
In your opinion, what's the best song to get someone into Coldplay? My opinion: If you want to get a lady into Coldplay, present her a calm and cheerful song, like Green Eyes or See You Soon (some Guy's pictures could help ). If you want to get a gentleman into Coldplay, present him a fast and catchy song (one of Coldplay's hits), like Clocks, Speed of Sound or Viva La Vida.
