  1. Im looking forward to it! Part of me kind of want to still make and share tapes to everyone though! And get new one from people.
  2. Great video, I hope the tour is this fun. Could make some amazing shows. I hope the die hard's appreciate this new fun side. The dark depressing Pearl Jam is well depressing. I love this song though!
  3. I believe just a bigger version of their arena stage. Check out Fix You video.
  4. Whoever did mine. I am dying here. I did seek out Heartbeats by Jose Gonzales. Amazing!
  5. Heard "Run This Town" today, it is catchy as hell man. Kanye knocked that beat out the park. His verse is damn awesome too. Rihanna just rips that hook apart. Jay-Z is classic and relaxed as always. This song saved Jay-Z. Cant wait to see him again this coming year!
  6. LiT ii will possibly come back. But not as an opener. They reserve that honor for the album opener. IMP, is very weak on the album due to the inability to finish it. Then having to chop it up. Live though, it is their Streets, the song that no matter what everyone will scream for. So excited for an updated live version. In My Place from live 2003 is up there for my top played.
  7. I imagine they have something up their sleeves. But even U2's claw looked small in Wembley.
  8. I working on a second one too, if you need.
  9. 1. Its got a cool bass line. A nice head bobbing song. Very Brit Rock. "If only I knew your name, Id go from door to door" Nice duet. 2. Female vocalist, steady bass drum beat, appreciated guitar. Melody is ok, the echo harmony aint doing it for me. Guitar is again very treble based and Brit Rock. 3. Crash and snare. Piano repeating two chords. 4. Spooky female a capella. Instruments slowly building. good track. 5. I recognize this. Very similar to the others. More jazzy beat. 6. Almost a ska beat, without the horns though. Emphasis on the third. good guitar and vocals in the chorus. 7. Synthy acoustic opening. Nice male vocals, barely distinguishable but good melody. My favourite so far. Its actually really awesome. 8. Very folky song. "Just leave my soul, anywhere till i find peace in this world". Great song. I feel this song. 9. I recognize this! Sweet arpeggiated acoustic guitar in a familiar melody! Love love love it! Was this in The O.C. ? 10. Mood changer. Weird piano distortion, I do like it. A lot actually. Good beat, getting a bit crowded. Its defiantly an instrumental. I recognize this too! 11. Weird piano, a foreign language perhaps? Female, not my cup of tea. 12. strong bass, weird synth. Dont like the echoed voices again, cheap trick to make the vocalist sound better. Im taking a wild guess its called Dance With The Money? Won me over at the end, decent track. 13. Don't know about this one. little too odd and foreign. Once again won me over in the end. 14. Piano ballad? I hope so! Starting off that way! Great song, this guy has good power in his voice. Nice sounding song, perfect way to end it off! Thanks to who made this, I loved it, good to hear music that I dont normally listen to. Very European though! Not a bad thing.
  10. If you need, I'll make another one. I have a new theme in mind. In other news downloading mine now!
  11. Even if Hopkins doesn't have production experience, you gotta start somewhere. I just thank god Bono pulled Eno out of "Retirement" in 84
  12. Thinking on it Jon would be freaking great for them. He is our generations Eno. And to all you twats who hate Eno for telling Chris the truth, good thing you arent in the music business. Eno god damned well saved Coldplay, and helped them make a great album. Eno is one of the greatest musical geniuses of all time. Do you think U2 would be where they are without Eno, no way. I do agree they need to look into Hopkins as a producer in the future. I just want them to finish what they have going with Eno for now.
  13. Hahahaha I wouldnt be proud of the Kings of Leon show. There screen bar at the top was the only cool part.
  14. 1. I suspect I mixed it up. Indian Summer - Gavin DeGraw - I love this album and this is the best song that "fit" with the feel of the tape. 2. Castles in the Sand - The Philosopher Kings - A great Canadian talent, I love them to death. 3. God's Gonna Cut You Down - Johnny Cash - It was between this and Hurt. I felt this was the better of the two for the tape. 4. Sleeping Sickness - City and Colour ft. Gordon Downie - I love love love Dallas Green. This has to be my favorite song by him. 5. Redemption Song - Chris Cornell - Close, it was a Bob Marley cover. I love this version because of Cornell's powerful vocals and awesome acoustic guitar. One of the best covers ever, I am sure Marley would have approved. 6. Tuolumne - Eddie Vedder - I fell in love with this album after seeing Into The Wild and the feel gave what I wanted for the tape. I see america when I hear this song. 7. Better Together - Jack Johnson - I love Jack Johnson, so calm relaxing and just pure bliss. It is a perfect summer song. 8. The Battle of Evermore - Led Zeppelin - One of my favourite Zeppelin songs, the duet and mandolin make this song. 9. Born Losers - Matthew Good - This song is just pure brilliance. Its about his fight with Bipolar disorder. This has to be one of my favourite songs. 10. In Your Atmosphere - John Mayer - I have said and will always stand by it, John Mayer is one of the most talented musicians alive today. This song is just beautiful and so full of angst. It always pulls a string with me. 11. The Ballad of the Beconsfield Miners - Foo Fighters - A beautiful guitar duet by Dave Ghrol and... I foget her name. I just love this and how fast they go. 12. Betterman - Pearl Jam - Has to be my favourite Pearl Jam track. It was between this and Jeremy so glad I would have made a good choice. 13. New Orleans is Sinking - The Tragically Hip - I just love this song all around. The irony I guess. 14. Old Enough - The Racounters - I just love the instrumentals in this song. It proves Jack White can be a great musican. Sorry You didn't like it 15. 5 Days In May - Blue Rodeo - Another lost Canadian talent. They are our Dave Mathews band, only a bit more country. It was between this and another Blue Rodeo song, it was to depressing and not bluesy enough! 16. These Times They Are A-changing - Bob Dylan - No blues mixtape is complete without Bob Dylan. Easily one of the best Dylan songs. He was way ahead of his time. 17. Small Memory - Jon Hopkins - Short, sweet and simple. The third and final instrumental. Chosen for the next song actually, I felt it was a good mood changer. 18. Now Comes The Night - Rob Thomas - Has to be up there with Jhon Mayer for one of the greats alive today. I love this song, it is kind of depressing but I loved it as a closer. I felt like putting a song at the end which would have been U2's Kite. Glad you liked it. I was very nervous. http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?artq01nzzrz
  15. Please Just Take These Photo's From My Hands - Snow Patrol - 59 Death Will Never Conqure - Coldplay - 52 3 AM - Matchbox 20 - 42 (awesome) The Goldrush - Coldplay - 40 Life in Technicolour ii - Coldplay - 39
  17. I actually loved their Vertigo stages, both Stadium and arena.
  18. Zoo TV Something tells me this will be full of U2.
  19. Thank god someone nominated Belief! Best song ever. Next to Vultures!
  20. Politik will always have a home on their shows. Its Chris' favorite song! In My Place was insane in Vancouver. It just has a great beat, great riff, and a great chorus. "YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAHHHH"
  21. It has the ideas of Zoo TV. The main stage with two catwalks. One which they go out and preform on. The TV on the stage. It just kinda stroke me and another U2 fan as Zoo TV meets an arena, meets Coldplay. The going out into the audience thing is the best part of the tour though! As well most origonal. Some bands go out and play off on a stage in the audience on the floor. But never have I seen a stage in the middle of the stands.
  22. I got mine hot off the press for like $50. Edge and Larry were amazing. Adam was funny too. I love the pictures most of all.
  23. Lost! will for sure become Lost? Viva is a hard one for me to predict. I cant see them doing that whole set up again especially if they drop Lost! Timpany and bell seem useless and worn out. I'd love to see them retool Viva, it has a great melody and can easily be stripped down for amazingness. Lovers will stay for sure. Rest is a toss up. I love LiT II as a closer, but I think it could fit perfectly for Encore II. Politik will stay. Clocks will stay, Yellow may end up a odd throw in. In My Place gets to goos of a crowd response, that song is the best live song ever. Hard to tell though. the album opener will open the show though. Politik, Square One, LiT, ???
  24. I was on the floor at that point. Its an awesome book, an essential for any fan. I listened to their music from each era while reading that era too. The music is so much better now with all the stories behind it. Like early U2 with Bono driving. I still think they only became famous as gods gift to Irish drivers.
  25. Mine is a lot like that.
