  1. Vancouver or Montreal? Bad, Kite and Streets!
  2. Not really Recent, but the last band I discover was John Mayer Trio, and well however unband he is, John Mayer. If you look past his poopy radio hits, he is a blues man tot he heart. He has a good voive and can play the guitar. He is a giant ball of talent!
  3. Just checked! Holy shit. Im going to get to meet U2, Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois.
  4. So are you telling me around October 28th I should work my connections in the Warehouse? The Warehouse is Bryan Adams downtown recording studio. Its where U2 has recorded some demos back when they took over GM Place for a month in 2005. As well where The Police rehearsed when they first got back together with the intent to Tour.
  5. Sold my tickets for a $100 profit on craigslist. Someone obviously like them more then me. Thanks KoL for making me a $100!
  6. Mine is 16 and 1.1 hour. And thats bare bones of what I want.
  7. I noticed that too, this afternoon. I got tickets officially. Not good, but Im going at this point!
  8. Actually, check back about a week after the show is announced. That is usually when they finalize stage layouts on the floor. Some bands reserve them for fans. Pearl Jam saves them for 10 Club members. Coldplay gives them away. U2 does GA, and lotteries before. It all depends. I have always gotten Row 1's a month after on sale, or a week or two before the show.
  9. To clarify, I have no Top 40. Its an acoustic/blues mixtape
  10. On the list I have made up now, there is no Top 40! There are a lot of Top 40 artists, but no mainstream songs.
  11. Oh also, I hope you people like Live music.
  12. Whoever I get, be ready for a mainstreamish look into new Blues Pop
  13. No England dates announced yet. I'd expect them too though.
  14. Eddie is straight up in the top 3 for vocalists. I was so angry I missed his acoustic shows last year. His Into The Wild soundtrack blew my mind. He did an amazing job of catching the emotion of the film and making a great album for it. I can not wait to see these guys live. They are also an important band for me. Listen to Alive you feel Eddies pain in that song. Ive felt that before, not the same as him but the pain he potrays with his songs. The Fixer is great, I dont hate it at all. I do like it, its just not the Pearl Jam I love, hopefully the album produces some real gems! I do agree a lot of bands are playing PJ music now...Kings of Leon....
  15. I have always said, Prospekts March is what is coming! Those tracks are amazing. Life in Technicolor ii could have torn up the charts if released in VLV position, but they made the right choice. Still VLV with the more raw sounding songs of Coldplay past we love would have been amazing! They are going to drop an amazing follow up. I think it will be called Bloodless Revolution...heh
  16. Their last album wasn't Nickelback. It was U2 meets Coldplay with Pearl Jam in there. I usually describe Caleb as a Martin meets Vedder. I dont see why I dont like them, they are essentially all of my favourite bands. I do like Use Somebody, Sex On Fire, Manhattan, Closer. Haven't really heard their older stuff. Can I expect a Live 2003 style show then?
  17. Sadly Im not a 10c Member. I have to fight through the gates of Ticketmaster Pre-Sales to get my tickets. Worst off, Im working right when Tickets go on sale. I trust my brother though. Im hoping for another show to be added the night before. Two nights of Pearl Jam would complete my life. I get to see all my Top 4 bands this year, and likely the fifth sometime in early 2010! Im praying for a Gorge length set list too! 32 songs is well worth my money, especially at $67 a pop! Its a great deal! It just shows they are possibly going more radio friendly?
  18. I love them, so excited to see them in September. There is no way Im not seeing them. I like The Fixer, but its not truly the Pearl Jam I love, and only 39 minute album? They trying to one up Coldplay?
  19. thanks! The link was broken. You can lock this one now...
  20. First off, I followed the old link, but it is broken. So Pearl Jam is arguably the best grunge era band, and one of the truly greatest rock bands of all time. They are releasing a new album in September and Touring in support of it. The album is called Backspacer. So any other Pearl Jam fans out there?
  21. I love the Zoo TV errrrr... Viva La Vida Tour a lot. I was a huge fan of Live 2003, still am. I think VLV is a perfect show for me. Good music, good show, amazing band. Thats how I felt I did love the Twisted Logic Tour too, the Johnny Cash outfits were great!
  22. And its sold out too. I wish!
  23. If I had one more weeks notice, I would have taken you up on that offer. Sadly I will miss out. Congrats!
