Jons rack model is great. One day if I move into Rack they will defiantly be a possibility. I heard mixed reviews upon the DL4s durability. I know Boss pedals are great. I would never buy a Line 6 Stompbox. The dial in....you cant beat it.

Line 6 is mediocer. I will always go Boss over Line 6. DD-20 is better than the DL4 imo.

Also wasnt Rainy day made into the beginning of Death an All Of His Friends....before the 4 part harmony thing? I'd see March as a more plausible date. I also expect something very very cool in terms of marketing.

Whoever London gets I bet my firsts born son it will be better then Cilen Dion(sp?). Vancouver really botched that decision up BIG time. It should be Bryan Adams....but hey whatever. Coldplay in London would be stellar!

I really want one now thanks... Today I splurged again on one of my wants. I went down to our local Big Box music store, and solved my delay woes. I got the DL4 and the DD-20 and played around with them for awhile. For me the one that prevailed was the Boss DD-20. I liked the DL4 and would recommend it. The DD-20 just had me, i like the option to dial in your delay the most. For the extra $100 it beat out their DD-7 too. I took it home and I can now say. I love this pedal. The loop feature is truly the most fun. I just like it a lot. I also got to play with a '72 Thinline. Such a beautiful guitar. As I was there playing it a guy cam up and was talking to me. He said he had an original 72 Thinline...He said he had messed with it a bit or else I would have made a fairly reasonable offer to him for it.

You guys remind me of Keane with a guitar. Very good though! Keep it up!

That pedal gets amazing reviews. Most say its very subtle when playing alone, but with a band its brilliant. Please let me know what you think.

It was a snippet of it. a minute 30 at most. No butterflies. But it was defanitly a Viva stage. It also wasnt How We See The World with LiT dubbed. I really hope they release a DVD soon. Then later on release another when tey are on their A game. Ala U2. Im defiantly more excited about the DVD now. I'd also rather Lost! have the Live video. I think Lovers can have a great video full of amazing imagery Japan is just beautiful and they should take advantage of that. Live video just wont cut it for me.

Today my friends and I got bores. Busses to the nearest mall. While I was in Best Buy browsing the CDs I hear the opening to Lovers. Then look up and on the TV is Chris and the boys on the Viva stage preforming the song. What does this mean? 1. Lovers will be the next single 2. There will infact be a live DVD(looked like the United Center) 3. Coldplay is awesome in public settings

You are having trouble because he is now using two Line 6 racks, and only one DL4. I suspect all new echos and reverbs are off of his rack.

IT is actually the biggest release of the year! Most major awards cut off(i.e. Grammy's) are Sept 30th. No Line On The Horizon - U2 isnt out till Thanksgiving (Nov 18th). Coldplay really saved their asses. As Bono says "You got two crap albums, two then you're out" Coldplay had 1. With the last few months they have now entered a tier where U2 was in the 80s....super stardom. If they can surpass this one more time or two...they will be indeed beside those like: The Beatles, Stones, U2, Neil Young...and so many more great legends. Coldplay have no intentions of leaving EMI. They are the favourites there, and get the best treatment, it'd be like a spoiled rich kid moving out on his own dime. (not saying the biys are spoiled)

I have been playinf for a while now. I know I have improved a lot. People tell me i have tons of potential. I just need to work on two things: Theory and my timing. The theory I have no problem with. It all makes sense to me. But my timing is rubbish. I've tried playing with a metronome but it pisses me off. I know that may be my only option...any tips you guys got?

When I play The Scientist I capo off at the third and strum 1 full on the beat and on the of fbeat only the top 3 strings. Its a cool sound i find.

Mine doesnt do that. I've forgotten it on there for a long periods of time too. My frets are starting to get dents. It could be a tight capo.

YES! Another album to look forward to, sadly this album will only have a week or two to shine till their big Irish bro's drop the Album of the Year. I have slowly been getting into these guys and am excited for some new stuff. Normally I have to wit years to get new stuff from my favorite bands.

Im fairly luck to have a well paying job. While still being in High School so I am without bills or responsibilities at all. $200 a week will get it for me in no time at all.

And it'll save you a lot instead of investing in a ton of stompboxes. The thinline will be worth it. Im slowly becoming a Tele guy. I hope to have a Thinline by October, which is reasonable with my pay. The DL4 is pretty reliable, just dont trash it about. IT stay in one place most of the time anyways. All in all you are looking at $2000 for a decent setup that will last.

Great cover. I find when my band covers it i use my guitar as a chello part instead....kinda makes it more full. But amazing anyways great job!

I never said they suck. I just dont like them as much...or their amps. I would gladly buy a DL4. And probably will.

im doing something similar with a band. Im doing main strings on my guitar though, then a background synth. We are even useing a large Bass Drum, A Timpany and a Bell. Im looking forward to it a lot. We are also doing Politik, that one will be epicly fun! Good luck mate!

He is one of the few truly great singer/songwriters of the modern day. His playing is amazing. I cant wait till he rolls through town, cause I'll be first in line!

The single sounds like Morning Glory to me. I hope this album flops cause its surpasses there two crap albums and youre out limit. Although if Noel wrote most of the album there may still be hope.
