If you saw storytellers back in 05 Chris wrote this song as a last minute add to X&Y to give it "a fuller, more even sound. It was missing that one song" And he wrote it at night...apparently naked. Although no one has confirmed that :P I think they are a unit when writing. Jon may come up with a guitar part that Guy thinks would be better his way and what not.

This version has grown on me a lot. I think Jay adds something good to it. Kinda adds to the hip hop feel.

You will see them one day. Maybe not on the VLV Tour, but you will. I remember thinking the same thing when they didnt announce a Vancouver date. But I worked 16 hours in one day, sat in line to get into the Pemberton Festival for 3 hours. Then pushed my way as close as i could. And I saw them and it was amazing. Stay determined and you will see them one day!

The site I regularly use to read reviews All Music gave a hundred Million Suns 4/5 and an AMG Pick. Now having the album 5 days. I love it. Or a few songs. Im addicted to The Lighting Strike. When Coldplay described 42 I imagined an Epic song like The Lighting Strike. For me I love Eyes Open most, A Hundred Million Suns will grow on me more and more just like Viva did. I think AHMS will be underestimated for a long time. But its one of the best of the year.

Im a fairly new Snow Patrol fan, circa Eyes Open. I love all their albums. This one is really really good. It is different in that its more upbeat than Eyes Open. Its a good album, I was a huge Fan of Take Back The City, but now it seems like the weakest on the album. Take These Photos is amazing! And the Lighting Strike! Im stoked for the tour. And I believe it is on par with their past stuff, but they need to change it up next go around.

Coldplay Snow Patrol Keane U2 John Mayer

Amazing album! The Lightning Strike is amazing! A great album all in all. A slightly different Snow Patrol, the description that it was more from the "Happy Side of a relationship than the previous sad side" was pretty accurate. And This album is great!

First listen now. Currently on Lifeboats. First 3 tracks are very strong and really good. Its kinda reminding me of a Coldplay meets Death Cab album.

I do hope this is a lyrical full version. They did promise a release one day for it. I really hope they roll back through Vancouver so I can hear and appreciate them in a stadium setting. As fun as Pemberton was, I want an arena show.
