  1. They played Everything's Not Lost at Royal Albert Hall in 2014, so as it has been played recently there is a chance they'll play it. Personally I'd like to hear Lost! again.
  2. I particularly like Noel Gallagher's guitar solo in this song. It's a beautiful song, and will be a great closer for the new world tour. Edit: apologies, I wrote this post thinking I was posting about the song 'Up & Up'
  3. There seems to be a lot of dislike as far as the latest album is concerned. Personally, I really like it with the exception of the song 'Birds' which just hasn't grown on me yet. The album is a different sound to the band's previous work, but it does sound very commercial. The album has obviously been made to appeal to the masses, but that can only be a good thing. Having said that there are some more classic sounding Coldplay tracks on the album, such as 'Everglow' and 'Amazing Day'. I don't however like that hidden track 'x marks the spot', CM rapping just sounds ludicrous. Overall I would give the album 4/5 stars.
  4. I think that Adventure of a lifetime was a great choice for their lead single, really upbeat and funky and one you can swing your hips to. Hymn for the Weekend is a very cool song, it's so diverse and Would make a great single. Fun is a beautiful song and I love the duet with that other singer (don't know the name-think it's something like Tove Lo) but I don't think it's single material. I reckon Amazing Day could be a single.
  5. Same, I absolutely LOVE this song, from the Beyoncé vocals to the piano at the beginning. It's such a diverse song vocally as well.

Wouldn't it be awesome if Noel Gallagher made a guest appearance at one or some of Coldplay's concerts next year?
  7. Try not to cause offence to others.
  8. A band's music has to evolve, they can't and shouldn't produce the same work all the time. I have been a fan since they released 'Parachutes' and although their style of music has changed with each album they have a,ways retained that signature sound. I love the new album, especially 'HFTW', 'Army of One' and 'HFOD'. For me the new album offers me hope for the future, which is great because I could really do with it.
  9. I pre ordered my copy from Amazon and it hasn't arrived yet. Apparently it'll be delivered by next Tuesday so not too much longer to wait.
  10. I listened to the show tonight on the radio, I particularly enjoyed 'Hymn for the Weekend' and 'Up and Up', they are two incredible songs. I love how HFTW has so many different components to it. Nice to hear a lot of the classics as well.
  11. I managed to get a couple of tickets for 18th June at Wembley Stadium. I went for the £49.50 Level 5 reserved seats, I didn't really want to pay any of the other prices as they were a bit steep in my opinion. As well as tracks off the new album I'm hoping to hear some of my favourites which include CB, ETIAW and SFOS. It looks like they'll be bringing back xylobands as well based on photos I've seen from St John's church, Hackney.
  12. I thought you were only permitted to buy a maximum of 4 tickets. Well done though.
  13. I'm sure that people already know this, but as well as streaming on BBC Radio 1 tonight at 7:45pm the concert will also be available on BBC iPlayer from tomorrow.
  14. Okay fair enough, if they have never been to your country then of course you should have the right to go and see them somewhere else. I suppose I was being a bit selfish because I knew that if they were only available to British citizens then it would be easier to buy them, but at the same time as many people as possible should have the same opportunity to see the band.
  15. How is that fair? Well I suppose it isn't, but instead of travelling abroad perhaps some fans should try and go to a show in their own country. With regards to the pre sale code maybe fans should read the terms and conditions before they buy something.
  16. Wembley June 18th (fingers crossed) - going to try my luck in the Amazon pre sale
  17. At least it means that those people living in UK have a better chance of obtaining tickets.
  18. Do you receive a pre sale code if you pre ordered the album off amazon?
  19. Definitely more expensive overall than Mylo Xyloto tour
  20. Wembley Stadium is £45 and £95 for seating and £65 for general admission
  21. I can't see Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds supporting Coldplay. They are way too popular in their own right.
  22. Yes let's hope so, I remember the tickets for RAH being £93.50 each with the booking few. Ouch!
  23. I reckon they'll be more than that mate, at the Emirates in London back in 2012 they were charging £49.50 for standing and £55-£65 for seats.
