*LOL* "Yes Leo, explain to me what your clearly deluded and crazy eyes see..." hehe Ok here is the official Leo guide on "how you see the goat" This works best at a distance, not too close up otherwise you clearly see its not a goat. So from a distance you can see the overall shape is that of a goat head with a hanging long ear *lol* (I am actually laughing at myself as I am writing this...). You can even see the goat mouth and small nose above the mouth and the faint line of an eye even. It looks like a very serious goat, not unfriendly, just serious, pondering as it were. *lol* OK I cant write anymore...I am laughing too much at how silly this sounds, but I swear I´ve always seen THE goat :) Blame it on a rush of blood to Leo´s head :P Now you know how I feel whenever I look at that cover. It spoils the whole album for me every time but I just cant stop seeing it hehe

Hmm you think so? When you say dance pop the albums that come in mind to me are Justin Timberlake FutureSex or Rihanna (any album). The closest Coldplay come to a pure dance pop song is to me Adventure of a Lifetime, but even that has too many organic drums and guitar licks to be fully dance pop hehe If I should describe the album as a whole I would describe it as dominating genre: no genre *LOL* I mean an album where Everglow, Hymn , Birds, Adventure and Amazing Day all exist together is clearly a non-genre album hehe However I think I agree with you if you say the production throughout tends very much to dance pop, that I would agree and for that we have Stargate to thank or blame (depends whom you ask hehe)

But then you know it´d be a just punishment. Will is the just King of Coldplayland haha Incidentally I find the instruments they play reflect very well their roles/personalities in the context of the band. Will is the fundation (as the drums are of a song), Guy I think is also quite level headed while being a bit more dynamic than Will (like a bass is still the fundation of all the guitars but still less fundamental than the drums), Jonny and his scintillating solos just reflect his own sparkling and positive nature (just look at his smile LOL) and Chris of course is the ultimate voice of the melody in the song (like in his role in the band he ´s the one where most songs originate from). I kinda love how cohesive they are in all their aspects ! haha No wonder they function so well as a band.

Quite an interesting anecdote! They said multiple times Will is the rock of the whole group, so no wonder Chris (or I think also the others) would turn to him in moments like these. I also think he is the most level headed of all, he just looks so wise and Yoda-like haha

It´s remarkable you still buy an album you´re not gonna like *LOL* Why not just preview it online, like on Itunes where you can hear a minute and half of each song and then decide if its worth buying? :) Heck I personally need to love at least 85% of an album to buy it, otherwise I just get a single or two and thats it.

Well it is true that we in the west in general are ignorant of the rest of the world as well, guilty as charged! But I would say europeans are more informed about the rest of the world than americans are. Now after I´ve seen the media on tv here for a few days...well lets say I am not surprised haha Media is far from perfect in other countries too, but I accidentally hit the fox channel and I was like...*shocked, turns off tv* lol

Meh I dont think so. They seem all pretty tight and on the same wavelength, however Chris is the craziest of them all and thats probably why 98% of the songs originate from him :) All great artists are a bit crazy :)

Well with total respect for my american genes, if it wasnt sarcastic it must have all happened in the USA *lol* A few days ago someone asked me here if I was from Denmark and I said yeah and they went on to say "ah you speak dutch then!" LOL I just think in general americans dont know much bout the rest of the world, and yeah the Beatles were huge in the US too, but they still qualify as "the rest of the world" hehe
