I have full respect for the Christians as well, but I have very little respect for hypocrisy :) You can condemn the F-word, dislike it and whatnot but to call it a "bomb"? That implies that its a shocker, a word rarely used and heard , when in fact in daily life its hardly a bomb...so its the hypocrisy that gets to me, not the actual opinion about the word.

Well clearly its not the scalpers job to protect the interest of the people hehe (Although it´d be nice for each person, business or not, to have some degree of social responsibility...)Its the government. People should campaign for this to be made law.

It certainly sounds like a no-brainer to be an organ donor, though I did read quite a few arguments against...Im no doctor so its hard for me to say a definite yes or no to which side has more valid points, but there are certainly points on both sides. The main problem/issue/question, from what I understand, being that organs can only be harvested from a brain-dead patient (not a dead dead patient) and there are mixed opinions about where that line is and what it actually implies. On top of that there is the profit question (a multi-billion dollar industry from what I read) , the "incentive" in harvesting organs. Oh wow...Coldplay may be too humble for my taste, but this guy could learn a thing or two about humility from Coldplay! Im starting to think that its an issue with lots of popular performers...they really get caught up in all the praise they get, gets to their head and they are swallowed up by it totally. Pretty sad. Even sadder perhaps is that the majority cant seem to see through that.

I agree about the persona being the real "selling point" here, not the music. Ditto with Katy Perry (though her music is slightly more palatable to me). I don't particularly like the image Beyonce has or tries to portray, its not my cup of tea either and live, though she puts up a really good show from what I´ve seen, she looks almost slightly scary...and not in a good way *LOL* That said she has an amazing voice, no detracting any points there!

This is kinda funny in a sad "is this for real?" way....Scalpers going on Ticketmaster to get tickets in order to resell them afterwards at scalpers prices right on Ticketmaster ! Oh wow...the nerve *LOL*

I actually took some time to educate myself on past performances today hehe And I really did like most of them! I do like a well organised show where the music is one but not the only element. I don't think Beyonce or Mars were among the best though or most spectacular even imo. But speaking outside the Super Bowl, I don't get why Beyonce or Bruno Mars songs are so popular or hailed as such high artistry...like I said I must be missing something here, cuz sure I like a couple of their songs (couple meaning two LOL), but even those I like are nowhere near artistry...more like a good catchy pop song at best. Maybe its just the R&B genre which is totally not in resonance with my ears...

Most are resale though at least for the 20.08...I saw a pair close to my seats selling for 3X what I paid for them! Geeees....

Im not sure about albums sold but Im pretty sure Beyonce sold more albums than Coldplay (no idea about Bruno Mars), so this is actually one case in which the main performer has guests who are more popular/known than said main performer! This is likely to be detrimental for Coldplay I agree. But I still hope Im wrong...I hope it will turn to their advantage. I still think that the organisers if they wanted to do something extra special for the 50th and honour previous performers should have done a separate medley/video or what-do-I-know that would have this function instead of cutting it into Coldplay´s performance. Also still I must admit...how can Coldplay think Beyonce and Bruno Mars are such amazing artists is well beyond me ! Their ears may very well have some elements mine don't in order to pick up on such brilliance where I just hear a pretty average and bland pop music.

At first when I read the Super Bowl was gonna celebrate the 50th anniversary I thought this was an extra honor for Coldplay but now that it means they will have to share the stage with so many others I'm starting to think it's the shortest straw :/ It's true that past artists almost always had guests in their performance but this is starting to look like Coldplay are the guests. I hope I'm very wrong about it though!

That sucks :/ I don't really get any tickets. I only got a pair in the beginning which I bought. Your best bet perhaps is to keep an eye on the ticket sale/exchange threads here and see if you can buy some tickets there at the right price, no scalpers :)

What ? No why being sorry about your post! No reason. And sorry if my story came out as sad only. Sometimes I forget how it may sound to other people when I tell it. I am sad my parents were not with me, but I always kept them alive inside me and I often hear them talk to me/imagine what they would say to me cuz I knew them well and how they were with me then, so sharing things about them makes me happy too in a way :) And there is a reason for everything, I firmly believe that! Moreover I don't believe anyone is truly gone...we are just separated for a while :)
