  1. Photos of me and my friends and our painted feet. (What we do for fun...)
  2. :laugh3: I'm beginning to suspect that Guy is the reason that the other three are in the band... Well, and the music, but that's secondary, of course.
  3. :stunned: Crap, he's onto us...
  4. We're out of ice cream...:cry2: WANT
  5. I'm going. It still hasn't sunk in properly yet. It'll be my first mainstream festival, and who better to headline it? :D The only thing is, I'm going with my mum (nobody else wanted to spend $350  ) and I don't think she'll be too keen on waiting for around five hours in front of the stage just so I can get remotely near the front... :S
  6. I love Ben Folds. My favourite song is 'Selfless, Cold and Composed'.
  7. Heh...I saw the 'over 30' thread and wondered where the young people's one was... I've never taken any beatings on the playground for liking Coldplay though. :laugh3:

  9. ^ Do tell... Me: :toff:
  10. This is why we don't have a TV. It's not that we don't care, it's that we know it all already and don't need every day ruined my some monotoned news reporter giving the daily death toll. It all depends on your perspective, though--you can look at the world as a whole and think, 'Shit. Why even bother?' And sit around feeling like some useless sod. Or you can look outside and see the sun shining on leaves and think, 'This is worth saving,' and go from there.
  11. Do girls need a codpiece if we want to be naked?
  12. My friend used to have turkeys, they were quite sweet in an ugly way. They'd always come running up to the fence when you arrived at her house. Then she killed them all and packed them off to be eaten. :)
  13. Ice cream is my friend. :) I love Ben and Jerry's, and there's a place here that sells reeeeeally good gelato...yumm.
  14. I liked it before they dumped all the interesting characters.
  15. Yes, lots. See, I have what I think is bordering on a disorder, where I start eating just because after about 9 pm. In order to keep the fridge full enough to feed the rest of the family, I chew gum when I start wanting to mindlessly stuff my face. It works :smug:
  16. Yay, Happy Birthday Canada! There were fireworks...I love fireworks :D
  17. I do agree with you on the way that the previous albums flow more, but I think that what might seem a bit sporadic was intentional. The only thing I'd complain about is the placement of 'Reign of Love'--listening to it with Lovers in Japan as a track by itself, the two actually work very well together, but with the album...it's a bit like a speeding car that very suddenly slams on the brakes, but only for a moment, and revs back up before you can catch your breath. Then again, maybe that's the point, but I think they'd have done well to put a slower song after ROL.
  18. Me...but then I read just how special his way of eating a teacake was and I burst out laughing.
  19. Yeah, I think it's a pretty genius way to end the album--even though it's totally ripped off from Abbey Road and probably many other things  I love it. The melody is beautiful, and the lyrics are amazing.
