  1. Err, it really depends! What kind of essay are you trying to write? What's the subject?
  2. I missed your birthday? :bigcry:
  3. Is this now the "post pictures of yourself with a piece of paper" thread? (I know I'm a few hundred pages behind :disappointed:)
  4. I can't upload anything right now (I might be able to tonight, though), but I can tell you some of their tracks that you must hear! First of all, Transatlanticism is the best album out there. With that said, definitely try Plans and The Photo Album (both amazing albums as well). My favorite DCFC tracks: Grapevine Fires (from Narrow Stairs) I Will Possess Your Heart (from Narrow Stairs) A Lack of Color (from Transatlanticism) Marching Bands of Manhattan (from Plans) Passenger Seat (from Transatlanticism) Transatlanticism (from Transatlanticism) What Sarah Said (from Plans) Soul Meets Body (from Plans) Coney Island (from The Photo Album)
  5. I'm debating whether to buy tickets for Sept. 16 to see them. Do you think it was worth it? I've never seen them live, but I've heard they're excellent. On the other hand, I've heard Alex has done things like that a few times before. :\
  6. Yay! What were some of your favorite moments from the show? I know, it's great though. It's like Guy's tweeting madness all over again. :P
  7. Thank you :)
  8. Yep, the first link in my sig is mine  I prefer flickr over photobucket because of the whole community thing. Photobucket seems more like a photo sharing website to me, and flickr seems more like a "photo website" site to me. If that makes any sense. :uhoh: (plus, the layout is a lot nicer!)
  9. Err, good interesting or bad interesting? Or "I just saw an ugly picture of Emma Watson, omg I didn't know that existed!" interesting?
  10. Haha, no, this will be my first time seeing them. Some of the concerts listed in my sig haven't occured yet, they're just ones that I'm going to. Like this one! :nice:
  11. Less than two weeks until I see them! Does anyone know who's opening on Sept. 12?
  12. I love how they're always competing in random Icelandic quiz shows  And what? A weightlifting challenge? I'd like to see Jonsi try that :P I miss this thread!
  13. The two best Disney films by far. Although Beauty & the Beast does come close! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSS5dEeMX64]YouTube - Mulan - i'll make a man out of you[/ame]
  14. Not professionally, but it's a hobby of mine. :wacky: Yours are lovely! I especially like all the Paris ones! Your paintings are lovely, I wish I could paint like that! :nice:
  15. Damn, I was about to say Dobby's. :P Probably Fred's. I had a feeling a few members of the Order would be killed, so Moody, Tonks, and Lupin weren't that surprising. And I knew Voldemort would be killed. Err, I obviously wasn't expecting Hedwig's death... or Crabbe's, but I REALLY wasn't expecting Fred's.
  16. The Kooks :wacky:

Yes, it's probably one of the most important things in a relationship- it's terrible having an unknown, and the words "I love you" can mean more than anything. People need to actually hear those kinds of things to stay assured of something, not just assume them. It's just how we're made. :nice:
  18. Oh, sorry, did I ruin the thread again? :uhoh:
  19. Oh yeah, we're like vicious kitty cats. :P
  20. I know there's a lot of pretty big Oasis fans on here, so it's too bad to hear this. :(
  21. Still reading "Hopscotch" by Julio Cortazar. It's one of the most beautiful pieces of writing I've ever read. :nice:
