I was at a college visit for Columbia yesterday, and the guy from the admissions office kept repeating the fact that Vampire Weekend went there and that he knew them all. :P Apparently, they didn't even win Battle of the Bands while they were there. :uhoh: That's awesome, though!

My physiology teacher put on a whole mix CD of Phoenix in class yesterday, it was awesome. (not to mention, I got extra credit points for knowing the band. :lol:)

I'm still trying to decide if I should buy really good tickets (I found some 4th row ones on craigslist) for this, and skip out on going to the Treasure Island Music Festival next weekend, or if I should get tickets for Treasure Island and only lawn tickets for Bridge School. :confused: I'm leaning towards getting lawn tickets for this, since they're only $30 and Shoreline is pretty small, but I don't have anyone to go with and I don't really want to sit on the lawn all alone. :lol:
