  1. Yeah, they look pretty. :) Those with the dress makes the outfit cute and casual with something boheme about it, I think. Are those shoes the style or colour you're going for?
  2. I really like that dress! What look are you going for? Does it matter if they are heels or flats? It's a pretty simple dress, so I think you have quite open options. :)
  3. Me too. :P If even all of those! I think he's too busy doing other stuff to sit down still watching a lot of football matches. :P
  4. Shouldn't you be called X&Y Child then? :P After all, you're made of chromosomes.
  5. I love her outfit in those pictures. :) Though I think she could have chosen a better clutch to those fabulous sandals (:wideeyed:) or the other way around (keeping it silver and black). That's great! Congrats to Gwyneth. :)
  6. What? :wtf: I really love the song. I think it's really beautiful. :wacky: I don't think it's about God though. But that's probably me being the atheist I am. It's a really honest and good expression of love in my opinion. :) The lyrics are brilliant. So is the melody. I love the multiple acoustic guitars (:wacky:), the bass-line, Chris's vocals on it, the electrical guitar that goes round in stereo in the verse...etc. :nice: One of the best songs on X&Y. About X&Y (off-topic!): It was the first album I got from Coldplay in 2006. I didn't know Coldplay then. At the time I really liked it, but was a bit disappointed, because it wasn't like Speed of Sound. I got really into it, but then got a bit bored of it after some time. The love for the album came back though, as I grew older and became a Coldplay fan. Today, knowing their whole (and loving most of their) back catalogue, it's my least favourite album of them, I think. (Not saying I don't like it, I really really like it!) It's probably because it's, as an album, a bit too long and I find the melodies and songs a bit more melodic or moving on the other albums. Maybe I'm just not so much into the kind of space-feeling of the album as I am to the other albums.
  7. Seconded. Except, I don't want that job. :P It doesn't seem like Chris to me.
  8. The same for me. Though I don't have some really good headphones. I'd like some new ones just for at home. I use Apple earphones with my iPod Touch. I really like the new ones (which I had to buy because my old pair broke :(), because they have little buttons high up on them with volume regulation and play/pause button (+ mic). :)
  9. Thanks, Antonia! :nice: I'm super excited to get it. I'd love to go to some parties this summer wearing it. :)
  10. Aww. I didn't see it that night. I miss that night. :\ Edit: My post #3000 (finally!) is in this thread and is about the Wembley gig 19.09.09! :wacky:
  11. I just ordered this from ASOS.com :wacky: : Please, let me be able to fit them! I think they're so awesome. :bomb: Yay! Good for you! :) Edit: Uh, how do I make the pictures smaller? :uhoh:
  12. I watched most of the ceremony transmitted on Danish television. It was quite moving and sweet. I couldn't help but being "awwww". :P Their hands were shaking when putting on the rings! I have on/off opinions about monarchy. Generally I'm fine with it and I like how the Danish royal family represent our country, but I think they get way too much money, that they don't need, which we - the taxpayers - pay.
  13. This thread has been really quiet. :( I'd hoped that it would be lively and all when I came back to Coldplaying. What's people been up to the last couple of months? (yes, I've been away that long :P) :)
  14. Thank you Mich! :nice: How did you find that? :stunned: It was quite interesting (what I understood :P). :) What did they mean when they talked about the bell being a "trigger (?)"? Isn't it the real bell we hear live? :stunned:
  15. Why are you talking Swedish inhere?  Danish has cool letters: æ, ø, å. :cool4: I love reading about Davide Rossi's work with Coldplay on his website: http://daviderossi.co.uk/site/category/discography/page/2 Expect some strings on LP5! I'm probably late on this: "Couple of days to stay in touch and work with Coldplay, now off to the uS with Goldfrapp. http://fb.me/BDX9BHM9" http://twitter.com/rossidavide Edit: I heard Speed of Sound on the radio the other day! They usually never play it anymore. It must be a bit over 5 years since I heard it the first time and fell in love with it and Coldplay, when watching the amazing music video. :wacky:
  16. Haha!! If he'll take what he can get, he's got a long way to go before he's gotten to all of them...
  17. Thanks for sharing, Craig! :) The Calligraphers sounds great. Isn't it cool that if your band succeed, whenever Chris and Phil hear the name The Calligraphers they will think of you and the chat they had with you? Edit: You need to send Coldplay your My Space link and Facebook-page, when you have put music up!!
  18. If they have to do Viva La Vida, I think Finn should sing lead vocal. I've had that in mind since we started talking about it. Yes, I loved it! I'm fascinated by his different outfits. :) Yes, if the quotes from Ryan Murphy and co. are correct, I agree. There's no need for lying about it. I don't see the point in that. Should that make Coldplay want to say yes if they were never even asked before? I think not.
  19. Craig, congrats! I understand your reasons for not telling more as it's probably the best for the band. There are no words for how jealous I am though. ;) Yes! :disappointed: Well, at least here... it is so off-topic. :P :wtf: As much as I don't agree and love Chris' looks, I didn't expect that comparison! Yes, we do know where it is... Check the Beehive thread. I guess that makes the majority of the regulars on coldplaying creepy.
  20. I don't know what really happened, so I'm not to judge anyone. Maybe EMI said no without asking Coldplay (as someone said). Yes! :wacky: Kurt is one of my favourite characters on the show. Can you imagine what it would be like without him? :blank: He wasn't originally planned to be in the show, but Chris Colfer got the role written for him, because they liked him so much. :nice:
  21. Stop with the accusations and judging, please. I watch Glee and I really like most of the Glee versions of the songs, but that does not mean that I prefer their versions over the originals. In fact I've gotten to know a lot of great songs through Glee, that I wouldn't have paid attention to if not through that. Do you know that the sales for the songs in their original versions by the original musicians go up after they've been featured in an episode of Glee? I see nothing wrong with discovering bands and music that way. Would you react the same way as you do to this if a Coldplay song was to be sung by other favourite singers of yours in your favourite TV show? Just because you don't like the show for whatever reason, doesn't mean that Coldplay go to some lower level by agreeing to letting them cover their songs. As we all know, Coldplay are just nice fellas - they just lend their songs to a TV show that celebrates music (and covered The Beatles, Queen and other big ones). A show Coldplay might actually like. They're not selling their souls to Death and All His Friends or anything. Don't watch it if you don't like it. Don't panic. Yes, exactly. Kurt is a really good soprano, so that could work quite well. :awesome:
  22. I've had Another One Bites the Dust on my mind since Vocal Adrenaline sang it. :D I'm obsessed too. :awesome: How many Beatles songs have they had so far? I liked Hello Goodbye. Yeah, I like that thought. :) Lily Allen's "Smile" was done in a sweet way. I hope they'll do something else than Viva La Vida, which they probably will, especially as Matthew Morrison, lead role, has expressed a wish for that, but really just any Coldplay song. He's playing a Spanish teacher too and it's their biggest hit, so everything points at it.) If they do cover Viva La Vida, I hope one of the guys sing it and they all sing as a choir on the "woah"s.
  23. Amazing Thank you so much Coldplay747!! I certainly did not expect us to get valid confirmation from an "outsider" (though now you've joined the forum, I don't know if I can call you that. :P), but it is highly appreciated! So that's where Choirplay are buzzing around! I've walked right by it (as many of us probably have). :shocked2: I even think I remember it slightly... Wow, you're a psychic, Nicole!! :stunned:   Congrats! ;) Haha, good one! :wideeyed: *Notes to list*: "Get a place in London. on Fleet Road in Camden, London." Haha! It just means that there's also an actual physical one now, not just virtual. :P
  24. Yay! I love Glee! :cheesy: They make terrific covers, IMO. I actually enjoyed the Queen songs they did. Of course, there's no guarantee it will be good, when they cover a Coldplay song, because Coldplay is the music closest to my heart and I'm therefore biased.
  25. This was so incredibly sweet! If possible, I love Chris even more now. :wacky: If he means during the concert in Denmark the 16th of August, I have no idea what he's talking about although I was there in 2nd row. :wtf: (it doesn't match with him saying "last week" either) Maybe he got the country wrong. THIS! Aww, again - he must be the sweetest man on earth. :wacky: I love these interviews.
