Absolutely. Making sweeping generalizations about any group is just plain irresponsible. The claim is that our nation was founded on a basis of freedom, including freedom of speech. This is not the case. Any little public suggestion or implication that our president is a dumbass (and he is) results in a huge uproar. The best example of this; The Dixie Chicks comment a few years ago. FREEDOM OF SPEECH!!! The video is great. It is IN NO WAY inappropriate or undeserved by American politicians.

In 40 Year Old Virgin it was a joke. I get it. Judd Apatow is awesome! However, WHY IS GAY STILL AN INSULT ANYWAY??? How is it that people are still so intolerant and filled with hate that saying something is "gay" is somehow a putdown. As a heterosexual female this always baffled me. What makes something "gay"? Its a silly label given by small minded and insecure people. Coldplay writes and performs good quality music and NO ONE should feel ashamed for liking them.

As a movie nut I've found that a lot of big budget action movies and horror movies tend to sacrifice quality script and cast for cheap thrills. When my coworkers were gushing about how good Saw II was I decided to give it a shot. Now I've gained a healthy respect for the series. Really intense films. The fact that they keep making them does make me lose a bit of respect for them however. The films are still good now but how much longer can they keep it up??

I love playing six degrees but I didn't really understand the version on this board so I thought I'd start a classic six degrees thread. Basically, I'll name two movie stars, the next person will connect them and then name two more movie stars. For example- If I said Christian Bale to Renée Zellweger.
