Thank you very much for the tip about the band. Never listened to a song of them before. Checked out a few tracks by them - very unconventional but great stuff indeed. A few crazy, independent and shoegazing elements in it. I love the way they apply the instruments. Sorry for the annoying comparison - but to me it kinda sounds like the very early Coldplay style - just Chris' classical songwriting is missing. I'm looking forward to their new tracks. I think Guy had a lot of influence on Coldplay's style from the beginning on. And you can still hear this unique style on almost every Coldplay track. I always wondered which one of the bandmembers is responsible for it - now I think I have a clue and Guy has one more fan ;). This kind of style brings the edges to Coldplay's music and that's exactly the part of their music that attracted me, all this mystery and the profundity in their songs. I hope it will not get lost along the way because a few steps have already been taken with the last two albums (though not that much with Viva). That's why I am always saying that Chris is nothing without his band members. Please calm down now :kiss: - I do not mean it as an offence but I think Chris had a tendency to triviality in his songwriting in the recent years, for example more simple song structures. Don't punch me, I said it's just a tendence - I still love Chris and all his great abilities - without him Coldplay could never exist and he's the one who keeps them all together. Nevertheless he's not Mr. Coldplay and in all our admiration for him we should not forget that Johnny, Will and Guy also have a great impact on the music that we love. I hope they will never split because they only function as a unity.

Yep that was funny, as well as the performance of Earth angel he knows how to integrate the audience....it worked well. I also love his version of Yellow - great idea to get the violinist for those performances. And he hides his too short hair behind the beanie maybe he does not like anymore or he read all the negative comments about it in here :dozey: :laugh3:

Me too, I generally don't like men with too short hair. Even in the "A rush of blood to the head" era it made him look old and not as attractive as he could look. With this short hair he looks like a refined man who did something wrong and punishes himself with this haircut. Chris never did anything wrong or maybe not???? Well we don't know ;) My favourite style is this, he looks like an angel with it: And also a bit longer is not bad at all: By the way I love this Rolling Stone Cover, can't understand the guys in here saying he wants to look like a God on it...

Only one year later and a new Coldplay album in our hands, that would be amazing! I expected it to come out soonest in 2011.

All of the songs are so nice ...especially St. Stephen (almost a releasable song), First steps and Goodbye and goodnight. It's a pity that there are probably dozens of songs like this we will never hear.

Oh Jesus *saying it like Chris*, seems like I really missed something - never heard of these Demos until now :lol: - I lived behind the moon in July...
