...who finds this song nothing special? I risk to be buried alive here I know,but I've heard it 100 times and still it seems mediocre to me. It is however far more original than Paradise and ETIAW to me, but I just... I don't know, I find it not good enough. It's just not a song that stays in my mind,it's not very authentic to me. yes,but they were young and it was rather... charming. a young man into music, trying to get a girl's love, playing a song about it with his friends. the video is one of my favorites too. it was sincere and that's what i love about it. get what i mean? it felt like he really meant these lyrics. now, it's like he is only narrating about someone and something, and that is ok sometimes, imo cemeteries of london has brilliant lyrics,viva la vida too, but paradise and etiaw are kinda... fairytale. and a bad one.
