I just think that it is their own damn thing what they do with their money and how they share it. It's their money after all, and I find it a bit rude to ask what they do with it. I understand that it ruins your ideological point of view, obviously, but you don't know them personally and I am sure not everything is perfect in their little world. It's just that we don't know everything and that is normal, that's all. It's private.

why exactly is it one of the band's greatest efforts? because you like it? just becuase it's full of euphoria and rhythm as you say doesn't make it a good song - cuz otherwise David Guetta's songs for example would be considered praiseworthy and would be acknowledged for the effort. Coldplay is not the kind of band for dancing and whatever attitude. I have always respected their effort for lyrics and melody, which apart from Johny's guitar riff is nothing short of lazy. And for Christ's sake, they used another melody. How can that be called effort? I can't stand Rainy Day for example but to me, that song has balls and effort all around it. ETIAW is a classic pop chart song, and that is all.

THANK YOU! I thought the same about these songs but didn't wanna burst anyone's bubble...They do have similar melodies really. And Lost and Lovers in Japan have the same chord progression in some parts btw. But that's normal I guess.

oh come on, you think everything she says is true? there are some things that have to remain between the band and their crew, and it is really logical and normal. no,I don't believe her on this one. it's TOO coincidental. especially the "they don't know who he is" part.

yeah I agree with the point here, I too think it is a bad step... too long a pause between the live premiere and the album... kills the excitement to me too... i want to hear studio versions of these songs but then again i want more new stuff...

I didn't think I'd say this, but Coldplay fans are officialy the biggest losers among all the fans, ever.
