I was on my own in the hotel and couldn't sleep so I did a little walk back to the square and had a chat with them. :nice: And then afterwards I even met the other guys again by coincidence. :awesome: What a great trip it was. I read the book so fast - I think I'll read it again, slowly this time. :lol:

I had a reading marathon last night. I wasn't feeling well so I went to bed early and then I made the mistake to continue reading with the book and just.couldn't.stop. :bomb: Matt has a great ability to describe things from his perspective and makes you feel like you were actually there. :heart: It's cute to read he's a person who is "star-struck" easily and I loved all the little addressings to the reader like "for you anoraks still reading" etc. :lol: Matt leads you so well through time from the beginnings in a small van to the big machinery that Coldplay is now. The description of his typical day and of what has gone wrong wasn't boring it all!!! There's a story involving a cameraman which felt like the description of a movie's action scene! :lol: (It isn't life or death - but close :P) Oh and all his comparisons to movies made me smile more than once. :nice: What he writes is never boring and even the Glossary is soooooo funny! :laugh: A Rush of Beck's to the Bus for Matt and all Roadies! :drunkjoe:

Dear Oracle, last night show in Monterrey was amazing; however, my friends and I were a little bit confused by the presence of some mariachis near down the stage, were they supposed to make a performance? I went to Guadalajara's gig too and did not see any mariachis near the stage. The Oracle replies: There was no Mariachi band set to appear on that final night; it was the backline crew members who dressed up for fun as it was the very last concert of the Viva tour.
