It's a lot of money! :dance: EMI charity auction update You may remember our news story a couple of weeks ago about the charity auction that EMI were holding to raise funds in aid of the relief effort for Japan. Well, the label have just announced that, as a result of selling all those things donated by their artists, a cheque for almost $1 million will be making its way to the Japanese Red Cross. $470,000 was raised by the auction - which incuded one of Chris Martin's old jackets (which he wore onstage and which attracted a winning bid of $14,060) and a 1987 Ferrari owned by Daft Punk that went for $42,000 - and then matched by EMI, making a grand total of $970,000. Hey, can you give us a bit more details? What version do you have? Windows 7, Vista, XP? Is it an official version? What exactly does it say when the update fails? Do you have to restore to a previous state? If you have Windows 7 - could you install the service pack?
