this is depressing

I got goosebumps....:) I can't wait for this album

not as much flow as In Ghost Colours. but i like it! :)

I hate how it's been ripped apart by reviewers. they say it lacks dept, the songs are simple and the lyrics are stupid (more or less) I feel each track is solid, has great lyrics and the sound is an extension of the dark feeling White Lies evokes in their music. It's a good album. Is Love is a steady opener and everything else flows perfectly. I was getting sick of Bigger Than Us by itself, but it fits in and the album flows. It's good. People have to see them not as Joy Division, Interpol or Editors wannabe's, but their own entity or post-punk revival

what did you think? because i think as a whole album it isnt too shabby. 'Street Lights' is my favorite song so far I'd say, but I like 'Strangers' as well!

i have been checking for 2 weeks each day for a leak, i finally got it. despite reviews out there hating on this band saying it's empty and weak, but if you listen to it without thinking anything, and just appreciating it the album is really good. I think this is a great album. Despite strange lyrics, the sound is like Depeche Mode, Editors, Interpol, Joy Division, etc. I like it, so I'm happy - lol, and with music, that's all that matters

White Lies 'Ritual' comes out in a couple weeks. I haven't even seen a leak yet either

why is this just getting posed in now? :P lol Thing is, there have been articles saying she doesn't like the music she makes...strange. The record is nice and refreshing though that's for sure

regardless of what comes of this album, better than SSK or not, Elbow is fantastic. I woke up to find this video and I couldn't have been happier. Guy is amazing

this record should be fantastic. i read on NME it is to have more aspects to touring and influence with live shows, so the sounds should be anthems and euphoric. cannot wait for Elbow's new record. that and Coldplay's new record is the ones I cannot wait for, minus REM, U2, Snow Patrol, etc...

I feel that the live version isn't complete as the track. the atmospheres and synths obviously must be louder. I want to hear the full product. Thankfully there is a Toronto show in January I can hopefully attend! :)

I am with you. they need a HARD rocking album. I love the classics, but we need more songs like The Fly and Zoo Station. The Rick Rubin songs should be released....I would LOVE to hear what those songs sound like

yeah! I get an Interpol double shot since I saw them this summer! :) I am so excited.

I've still got my tickets for the Toronto show next July... I cannot wait for the new material!!
