everyone here seems to prefer their older songs! :P This song doesn't put the older songs to shame, it just makes me like songs like 'Amsterdam' that much more. I like the change, innovation and different directions the band has taken, so I'll gladly follow along

I hope there's an album too! Carlos was a little bit of a prat, but his style is sweet! It'll take a while before we hear anything new though! :(

I JUST found this out. I am excited. I enjoy 'Little Shocks' amidst all this Coldplay single release. I expect a full 20 track album released by the Kaiser Chiefs, with a proper tracklisting, just a massive album. Going to go through all these songs!

I WAS not too long ago, but with bands nowadays, everyone complains and expects their sound to be what their first album was and what not - it's annoying just because bands evolve, they won't and don't want to sound the same! but anyway, I like the song, uplifting and should be amazing live! yes?

This song started weird. I can say that, but the build up, and how they give each instrument an intro makes me like it even more! comparing this to parachutes, AROBTTH, X&Y and VLVADAAHF cannot be done, it's a stand alone right now, it's from their fifth album, not their first, second, third or fourth.

It's brilliant, and yes - the lyrics may be bad by themselves, but they fit this song don't they? it's very euphoric in my mind. The album (whenever it comes out) is going to be very very different, but I am excited. 4 times played already but it grew on the first listen, this song will be big

my first post, but the vocals are something to get used to, but great build-up in the song, and the outro was great....need to hear more!

Black Fingernails Red Wine is a pinnacle. they tried too much on Inshalla, but the new song has something to it, i can't get an MP3 in Canada atm! :(

I don't understand the hate towards Brick By Brick. yeah, it sounds nothing like them, but listening to the album through, it doesn't feel out of place... definitely more variety and i love it!

love the pace of Library Pictures and the Hellcat Spangled Shalalala is awesome! need a few more listens for the last 3 songs, but I like it a LOT! better first listen then Humbug. I honestly enjoy anything they put out, even all the b-sides, but She's Thunderstorms is a little awkward

Give Up The Ghost is such a calming song. I actually love this album - at some points it is disjointed, but as a whole I appreciate it! supercollider and the butcher are great as a stand alone too

i completely agreee. it seems like 4 years for 11 songs (including supercollider and the butcher + TAMTW) in regards to this album is a little depressing.... I wish there was more, but i guess that means we just have to REALLY learn to appreciate TKOL...I love it, but it's just too short

again, good record. i've said that in most threads, lol - but this one was really well done. i especially liked the beginning, kind of lost interest...but i still love the kills

i liked the new record. it is a little different to get used to in regards to start listening to, however it's good! :)
