The Sun: Coldplay 'Working On Fifth Album' (demos being laid down)
Remember that the 2010 date is tentative, and honestly, I don't want the boys to rush it. I might be happier with a 2011 date. Refine the material to its prime, then maybe give us the rest as B-sides or pull another EP.

To think I could have been at this concert if I didn't have to conserve my money so much... :( Ah well,, I'll watch what I can of this. Few more minutes!

U2 Fix You
I don't think he's in the video, but he was there in the crowd, apparently with other big stars like Brandon Flowers, Sean Penn, and even Bill Clinton.

Viva La Vida sketchbook by Tappin Gofton and the band
Awesome, I had not seen that before. I was completely mesmerized by the slideshow, but I'm sure a few dedicated fans will be analyzing the details of each slide. Thanks for sharing! :)

U2 Fix You
Having the Jonas Brothers cover your song is the ultimate insult. Having U2 cover your song (even just partially) is the ultimate compliment.

SACIT (haha, "Sack it!") took a while to grow on me also. They played it the other night which was a nice surprise, but I heard it was in place of "You Could Be Happy", which I love just as much. :\ EDIT: Oh awesome, found it on YouTube: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzBENY2JVRI]YouTube - Snow Patrol- "Somewhere A Clock Is Ticking"- Wiltern, LA- 10/20/09[/ame]

^ Ah, that sucks about the animation. :( My druggie friend was tripping during it. "Somewhere a Clock is Ticking" is like a huge slap in the face of awesomeness. You don't see it coming, then POW! Your face is now drenched in awesomeness as you scream from the awesome sensation that aches from every wince of awesomeness. When I hear that song, it's like I'm BLEEDING AWESOMENESS.

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You

Don't have a YouTube account, so let's see if the following works for you all: http://s115.photobucket.com/albums/n300/thingster/Snow%20Patrol/?action=view¤t=CIMG0175.flv It's the 10 seconds I nabbed of The Lightning Strike before realizing I hit Record instead of the photo view button. On the topic of Chasing Cars, I'm mostly neutral to the song. I like at least half the songs on Eyes Open better, but it's still a pretty song when you take away the whole "Signature Song" factor.
