Supposedly Zach Braff is set to make brief roles in a few episodes, but yeah, the show ain't gonna be the same. :(

Ah yes, Scrubs has always had fantastic music in general. They've used Keane numerous times also. I'm a little ticked they're reneweing it with a mostly-new cast, though. Brief cameos by older cast members aren't gonna cut it. :\
  3. Definitely a fantastic song, though I admit to liking at least 3 other songs on Funeral better.
  4. I think Yellow and Clocks at least made it onto the list of Top Songs... But I truly haven't payed much attention to Bitchfork in a while. :dozey:
  5. Every country has their failures in music. The bad news is that those failures get recognized. What I'd like to know is what this article's author DOES like. I bet I could come up with an equally lengthy ramble mocking his tastes. ("Journalists: Why They Can't Be Trusted With Brains")
  6. I have never, ever watched the Jonas Lovers' cover of Fix You, and I never, ever hope to. Every time someone posts that clip, I scroll past immediately. On-topic: I'm actually not that crazy about Coldplay's cover of Billie Jean, but I will second all the thoughts about it being a tribute of respect rather than trying to rework it into a fancy new style. That's why it's only a live performance.
  7. Great news to all you anxious fans who have been patiently waiting! :D It'll be worth the wait! Damn, I just got my F5 button replaced.
  8. It is new news that they will be appearing on the 20th anniversary documentary of the show, however, in addition to an episode. I was really looking forward to that in the first place, but this makes it even better. More info from a few months back: http://blogs.wsj.com/speakeasy/2009/07/13/morgan-spurlock-spills-the-beans-on-his-upcoming-simpsons-doc/
  9. Lengthy songs shouldn't be long for the sake of being long. You have to do it right and make it grand enough to warrant the extra time. I would certainly support an effort at, say, an ambitious album closer that continues to build over 6+ minutes, but it shouldn't drag needlessly.

  13. They'd only sell one shirt at C-Mart! *ahem* Going with Sparks. I have to be in the right mood for it, but it's a beautiful song that hits me deeply.
  14. Sorry, I kinda lost track of this project. :\ What's the progress thus far?
  15. Better yet - instead of sending out individual PM's, is there a way somebody could post it in the Multimedia forum? That way it's less of a hassle and more people can have access to it. I've also only listened to the poor-quality live recordings, so a studio version would be fantastic.
  16. Going with Lovers. You just can't beat the butterfly theatrics and the ensuing frenzy among the crowd. Politik is always a real gem live, however, and I hope it sticks around for anotgher tour.
  17. I actually hated ASARY at first, but I've liked it a lot more over time.
  18. So my friend did end up cancelling on me, which was very disappointing, but fortunately, I quickly found another friend (the one who I saw Coldplay with last year) who was delighted at the offer. So yeah, roll on October 20th! Just a few days after I turn 21, heehee... :laugh3:
  19. I don't know about you guys, but I'm gonna dress a monkey up in a clown suit, put him on a unicycle, and train him to juggle, then get moderately rich off his antics. I'm also gonna teach a parrot to sing Yellow. Now I just have to find a monkey and a parrot... Either that or I'm gonna have to get myself hooked on a different band to distract myself. The horror. :P
  20. "WEDDING BELLS" is an anagram for "DEBS DWELLING". Obviously we're going to get a virtual tour of The Oracle's house. :laugh3: It's also an anagram for "DEBS WILD ENGL", which reinforces previous theories that Debs Wild does indeed live in England. This is a conspiracy approaching Da Vinci Code levels.
  21. Social network groups - as a general rule - make me laugh. :laugh3:
  22. I have the second one hanging up in my dorm (right beside my U2 poster) while the first one I have hanging in my actual house.
  23. Personally, I prefer the route that Radiohead took regarding Miley. :laugh3: But I guess that's just Chris's personality. Unfortunately for him, singing everyone's praises isn't going to get people off the band's back about idiotic things. I think we all both love and hate the silly things Chris says. :D
