Flock is one of my favorite "overlooked" albums ever. The newest album is decent, but not as good as Flock. More people need to know about these guys! Nobody's heard of them stateside!

Glad this was bumped back up. I'll be seeing Metric on Dec. 13th as part of KROQ AAC. The timing couldn't be better, as I just so happened to get into them within the last few months. "Fantasies" is one of my favorite albums this year, and their past stuff is also really good. Oh, how I love discovering awesome bands that have existed for years and years. :P Still have to check out Emily Haines and the Soft Skeleton.

Disregarding the fact that Up To Now isn't supposed to be a "Greatest hits" album (it's a collection of the band's personal favorites, many of which are B-sides), Pitchfork has been praising Coldplay more ever since VLVODAAHF, actually. They gave decent (though not great) reviews to Prospekt's March and LRLRL also. I'm more surprised that they praised The Killers. I see them getting trashed on Pitchfork quite a bit.

Got tickets for the second night in Anaheim. I'm taking my step-mom to this one and I don't think she'd fare well in a GA Floor, so I settled for some higher seats. Should still be fun, though. Lately I've gotten really addicted to "Even Better than the Real Thing". One of U2's catchiest songs.

We need to figure out who this mysterious "Curator" is! :P
