  1. When Chasing Cars, you had better Run when you hear the other car Engines or see Headlights on Dark Roads or else you will end up with Tiny Little Fractures and Grazed Knees once you Open Your Eyes, or at least Whatever's Left of your body.

  5. Time just floated away
  6. Top 20 is up, if anyone cares. ;) winigwl was right about Radiohead and Arcade Fire (though who didn't see it coming?), but you can see the rest for yourself.
  7. In honor of Chris getting a haircut, I think I'm gonna get my own haircut tomorrow. Also because I'm really overdue for a haircut. "Do you want a Twiglet?"
  8. I had heard Speed of Sound a few times on the radio, then one day when it came on, I randomly started singing along to it! And I thought, "Holy shit, I must love this song! I've gotta check out this band!" And so I did, and the rest is history. :D
  9. Remember when Something Awful posted their "RichDork Media" parody several years ago? Also, Clocks is somewhere in the 100's and Yellow is somehere in the 200's or 300's, so they didn't totally ignore Coldplay or anything. But I'll bet that the Top 20 is gonna consist of songs nobody has ever heard of.
  10. So we rode down to the river
  11. From the windows they were watching
  12. In a haze, a stormy haze
  13. Yeah, I think they're smart enough to keep In My Place. I am, however, deeply concerned for Politik. It's one of their best live songs, but I can't help but feel it was damn lucky to stick around this time, and I'm not sure it has the fan momentum to continue. I hope I'm seriously wrong. Green Eyes is toast, though.
  14. Thought of all the stupid things I've said
  15. I apparently didn't vote, so I have no right to complain. :P Even though I want to.
  16. As I crawl to the ground
  17. Another article with basically the same info: http://www.alternativeaddiction.com/musicnews/article/1479/The-Verve-Break-Up...Again Damn. We were very lucky to get "Forth" in the first place, but the reunion was surprisingly short. What a shame. I'll keep my eyes peeled for "The Black Ships" (I found one song on their MySpace page), but in the meantime, a million Bittersweet Symphonies go out to the wonderful band that came and gone more times than we can count (okay, three).
  18. My head just exploded from anticipation. Now I need a new head. A lot of interesting sounds, but I think anyone looking for the "classic" Muse may not find it. Then again, 30 second clips are a poor indication of an entire song. I really want to hear the full guitar of "Guiding Light".
  19. That makes me mad, so to cheer myself up, I simply turn on the CD in my car and listen to the song in question in whole. :D
  20. I think it's interesting how a lot of people here listed Starlight, while a lot of the self-proclaimed "hardcore" Muse fanbase hates the song due to its pop-ish nature. (I personally think it's a great song, though certainly far from their best.) I didn't list anything off BH&R earlier, so my favorite off that album is certainly "Map of the Problematique".
  21. I put the odds of Paddy Power folks getting a hernia as 15/11. Now tell me, how am I any less credible than this Paddy Power? :P
  22. Oh rainy day, come round!
  23. Heh, had this idea once also. Picking back up... All of us are done for
  24. So they finally brought back Speed of Sound...I'm still baffled as to why it was kicked out in the first place. But TIL KINGDOM COME? That's the last song I ever expected to replace DWNC (which the novelty had worn off of by this point). Can't wait for a video of that and I'm now envious of the European tour for it. :P Oh, the pictures look amazing! I wish I could experience a European concert crowd once. Bad weather doesn't stop them from having a great time.
