Disregarding any negative opinion I may have about Senator Kennedy, he was a real trooper who triumphed through his share of tragedies (John and Robert, to name the big ones) and left his mark in politics. History will be the judge of his effectiveness, but very few politicians have such fruitful careers. Sadly, his death is already being politicized for the health care bills. Disgusting. Also, a special election is already in the works (MA is the bluest of the blue states, though.).

You know, I still feel pretty neutral about Reign of Love, but Lovers in Japan has steadily bumped off both Viva la Vida and Strawberry Swing as my favorites on the album, and at the current moment, I may have settled on Lovers in Japan as my favorite of the era. Seeing the song performed live certainly did it favors, but the song is just addictive in general and it fits any mood. It picks you up when you're feeling down, and makes you want to dance when you're happy. However, given my so-so feelings towards Reign of Love, I will always burn the Osaka Sun Mix onto Coldplay mix CD's. So yes, over a year later, I have finally decided what my favorite song on the album is. And I'm dreaming of the Osaka Sun... :cool: Edit: And the acoustic version is also great!

Chris seems too humble to hate on others. While I still like The Killers, I think they have yet to out-do "All These Things That I've Done" (even though the line "I've got soul but I'm not a soldier" makes as little sense as it did 5 years ago).

I like how this topic morphed from dining discussion to collab speculation to Chris's wardrobe to Jonny's wardrobe to kinky dates. :lol: EDIT: Human was a real grower. Totally hated it at first, but now I like it quite a bit (though very different from Hot Fuss). Heck, the entire album was a grower.

I actually feel a bit bad for Debs having to tread through all that mail and choosing what to answer, then getting confused by all of it. I suggest that in addition to an Oracle, Coldplay.com requires a Sage.

I recall arguing this with people back in the day about how people started their new millenium celebrations a year early. Now I just don't give a damn. ;)

I have to be careful not to listen to the previews too much. It tends to sour the value once I hear the songs in full. :\ Also, I have this unexplainable feeling in my gut that "Undisclosed Desires" is going to be huge. It strikes me as bigger than SMBH (and I don't even like SMBH that much).

KRUZ 97.5 It's out of Santa Barbara but you can get good reception down through like Woodland Hills. They play mainly Viva-era songs, though once in a blue moon I'll hear Yellow or Clocks.

Great song, but I do agree that the vocals could have been mixed a bit better. Rightfully left off the album, but still a fun song. (My drug addict friend said this song makes him trip. :lol:)
