Yay, it won. :) Honestly, a lot of THP/PFFA's appeal is that the live version offers such a departure from the studio recording. I also believe that The Hardest Part on piano is the superior version of the song. As for Postcards, it works greatest when coupled at the end as a beautiful piano track closer. Not that I have anything against the PM version either, but it doesn't flow as well by following LITii.

I still lost some respect for Cat Stevens because of this whole incident, but at least he's not gonna fight a battle he can't win. And he took a shot at Satch to distance himself, so I suppose that's good. :)

Nothing short is incredibly impressive! :stunned: The only "obvious" exclusions to me besides the elusive Safety EP are the Lovers in Japan single, the red single of Lost!, and various VLV-era vinyls. I'm sure there's others, but that's all that jumps out to me in a collection bigger than I'll ever have. :P

Up - 9/10 Beautiful animated movie, and loved every character except the villain. Angels & Demons - 4/10 Every bit as mediocre as Da Vinci. Quantum of Solace - 5/10 Huge step down from Casino Royale.

I love Snow Patrol and am horribly disappointed they won't be touring with Coldplay on the final North American leg. Great interview nonetheless, and "Glass of Water" is an interesting favorite song choice to hear from Gary.

A) I love Muse and absolutely loathe Green Day, so I take offense to that. :P B) "Time is Running Out" is certainly a candidate for my favorite track, so great choice. C) Some basic track recommendations (for a newcomer) - Hysteria, Plug In Baby, New Born, Bliss, Stockholm Syndrome, Take a Bow, Starlight, Knights of Cydonia That's more well-known material, but it's easiest to get into.

Unintended I actually only started liking it recently, but I now prefer it over half of Showbiz.

On one hand, it seems like this article writer is well aware of the idiotic and needless hate for the band. On the other hand, he sort of takes a "So what?" approach. I actually got the feeling that he's relatively neutral towards the band, not understanding the hate but not considering them amazing at the same time.
