The Strokes
They're back! There are all kinds of videos on YouTube. I just liked this one. [ame= ] [/ame]

What's your favourite merch?
It's true. With legs, I try to drop the weight and increase the reps. (10-12 X 3). Legs and back are your biggest muscles, and any weight lifting, especially high weight/low reps., will add size quickly to those areas.

What's your favourite merch?
I'm 6'3", 240 lbs., and have a 36" waist. If I can find a shirt that fits my chest, back, and shoulders, it usually looks like a dress at my mid section.

Silversun Pickups
I'm not a big fan or anything, but I saw them at a radio festival the other day, and they were very good. I have a couple of their CDs, so I will check them out in greater depth.

KROQ Weenie Roast 2010
That's a shame - Hole was so-so, but STP was fantastic. Scott Weiland is as healthy as I've ever seen him. When clicking on all cylinders, STP are one of the best live bands I've ever seen (and I've seen a lot). Their sound is built for festivals and big, outdoor venues. They were easily the highlight of the show for me. I also liked Silversun Pickups.

What's your favourite merch?
Yep. I use a classic example to explain to people how an obsessive collector thinks, and it certainly applies to me: If I go to McDonalds, and get some type of promotional give away, and the item I received is #4 of 10, I immediately want the other 9. I don't even care what the item is, I just want to complete the set. The above story is a slight exaggeration, but not by much.

What's your favourite merch?
I almost never buy concert merch, even though I love it. I don't for the following reasons: 1. That shit is expensive. On what planet should a t-shirt be $40. 2. I do a lot of weight lifting, so I'm a bulkier guy. Those concert t-shirts are meant to fit kids and heroin addicts. 3. I am an obsessed collector. I should never go anywhere near a merch both.

U2
Me too. And I was supposed to go Monday.

The Beatles
I want to see tribute bands, but they scare me. I'll never see the beatles or Zeppelin, so a tribute band is as good as it gets. At the same time, I don't want my opinion of a band to be impacted by anything a tribute band does because it's not really the band.

KROQ Weenie Roast 2010
T depends on how big the band is. Since not many big bands are playing this year, only a few (stp, sublime) get an hour.

KROQ Weenie Roast 2010
It's started. I'm here, and temper trap is half way into their set.

The Beatles
^ I stand by my opinion, but you are free to yours.

The Beatles
Time and place, time and place. Egos are great when you are on stage or in the studio being a rock star. However, as we all know, the ego of a rock star doesn't always translate to success in every aspect of life. Admittedly, it must be difficult to balance.

KROQ Weenie Roast 2010
Hey, I just wanted to let you know that KROQ will be broadcasting a stream of their annual Weenie Roast. The line up is not as strong as in years past, but there are still a lot of bands playing that are readily discussed in WOM. Anyhow, here's the link: http://kroq.radio.com/1960/06/01/kroq-weenie-roast-2010-live-webcast-powered-by-ustream/ Usually, the set times are pretty exact. If there is a particular band you want to see, it is currently 11:00 a.m. in California.

The Beatles
Are you reading what I am writing? I said "even if it was just to pick her up." Edit: I shouldn't have said that. Discussing politics on a message board is always a losing proposition.

The Beatles
It's simple. I seriously doubt that Paul McCartney could, with any level of specificity, describe the positives and negatives of the former or current administration. However, more to the point, even if he could, you don't make that statement in this environment. Go on Oprah or Letterman and spout your dopey views. I am still going to think you don't know what you are talking about, but I am going to be less offended than if you make them at a White House event. Context is everything. The classy move would have been to accept the award honoring you for your music - plain and simple. By the way, President Bush's wife has her Master's in Library Science. I am pretty sure he's been to a library, even if it was just to pick her up.

^ And what the hell does a high school educated Beatle know about political issues. It's easy to take a quick cheap shot at Bush, however, if someone sat him down and asked him to be specific about what he dislikes about Bush and his policies, it wouldn't be too hard to make Macca look like a fool. I have a Master's in Public Policy, and I understand that political and social issues are complex.

^ TOTALLY AGREE!. I, too, am not a fan of President Bush, but that is disrespectful to the county who's giving him the award. I think it's even more disrespectful coming from someone from another county. I love you Paul, but that was bad form. Stick to what you know and do best.

Goo Goo Dolls
Yeah, I am a really big fan, especially of their earlier stuff. I don't like a lot of the stuff they've made recently, but it's alright. I also don't like their new single "Home." However, I think they wrote some of the best pop rock of the late 90s. "Name" is one of my all time favorite songs.

Radiohead
It depends on how well you like Pablo Honey and The Bends because that's all it is. I like it ok, I guess. It's been awhile since I watched it.

Radiohead
I want to buy the 2 disc sets, but it bugs me that I already own 1 of the 2 discs per album. I would be very excited if I had neither.
-
U2
Got the DVD today. I went with the 2 disc set. I will watch it later tonight.
-
Radiohead
^ Actually, it's not just him. I'm upset with all 5. My frustration is distributed in a very equitable manner.

Radiohead
Nah, I'll just call him up. He's on my speed dial.
