  7. Good review. I think The Killers are absolutely fantastic live. Even though I love their albums, they do them no justice when you hear the songs played live. I, also, think that Brandon has matured. I have been watching The Killers since they were playing 3,000 seat auditoriums. Now, they are comfortable rocking major arenas. It has been a nice progression to watch.
  8. Hell yeah, I am watching them! This is the best talent I can ever remember. U2, Coldplay, Radiohead, Robert Plant, Dave Grohl, and Paul McCartney. This is a no brainer.

  12. I think they have grown up as well. It's like when Eddie Vedder said that winning a Grammy really didn't mean anything to him. I don't know if he still feels the same way, but I have to believe he would take it more in stride these days - award shows are what they are. Also, I don't find the carbon emissions argument to be very compelling. I am environmentally sensitive, but I don't think a flight to the U.S. is going to be the end of the world. I get their argument, but I'm just saying...

    All I Want Is You - U2
  15. That's a good point. I just assumed they were going to be there. Perhaps they will just do a video feed like Amy Winhouse did last year. It certainly does not have the same impact as if you show up and rock the actual award show.
  16. The Scientist - Coldplay Flake - Jack Johnson City Of Blinding Lights - U2 Bennie And The Jets - Elton John Angel - Aerosmith Heroes and Villans - Brian Wilson Setting Forth - Eddie Vedder Shadowplay - The Killers Changes - David Bowie My Generation - The Who
  17. I am really excited about this album, but I think there are going to be songs that I like and others that I am not crazy about. I at least like that it appears they are taking chances and mixing it up stylistically.
  18. Damn, I am so jealous of all the concert goers. I have seen 4 of the 10 songs off of Day and Age live. I don't think you will be disappointed.
  19. HaHa. I was thinking that, too. Wouldn't it be crazy if they busted out an unexpected classic like Idioteque or Paranoid Android. That place wouldn't know what hit them. I think its safe to say that they will play something off of In Rainbows. Not that this is bad, as they have plenty of good songs to choose from.
  20. I like Viva la Vida the way it is. You can't write the same thing over and over and expect to remain relevant as an artist.
  21. I would like Coldplay to win, but I certainly don't want them to sweep. The Radiohead and Plant/Krauss albums are too good not to get recognized. Not that I really care much about award shows outside of the performances. I don't think they really validate anything.
  22. That guy's guitar strap looks like crime scene tape.
  23. What colors? This thread has colors?
