  1. Rolling Stone is bad with artists they like. Dylan is a great example, and Bruce Springsteen is another. U2 doesn't quite match up with those two but, I admit, they are very close in terms of receiving positive reviews from that magazine. But look at it another way...if Rolling Stone said No Line On The Horizon sucked, I would know we were in for a bad album.
  2. Oh, I didn't know that it was ok to post passwords on this forum....some don't like it. Anyhow, the one I was emailed is VIVALAKROQ (as mentioned above). Good Luck!
  3. I have had the password for a few days, but I forgot to check and see if anyone needed it. PM me if you still do, but it might be too late to get back with you...the pre-sale starts tomorrow at 10 AM. I am not going to buy tickets in advance. I think this is going to be an easy ticket, and I will look to buy it at a discount on the secondary market. They have already played SoCal 3X on the Viva tour, and, now, they are moving to stadiums. I think it will be saturated. Besides, I can't even plan what I am doing tomorrow. I am incapable of making a commitment that is 5 months in advance.
  4. ^ I like that song, too.
  5. Chris Martin, Bono, and Brandon Flowers on the same stage....WOW! Congrats to all of you who were there. All These Things That I've Done was a great choice for a collaboration. It might be the ultimate sing along.
  6. Just got the new Rolling Stone today. No Line On The Horizon was given a perfect 5 stars.
  7. It's amazing how late of a release "Love Hurts" has been. Light Grenades has been out forever, and this is a fairly recent single. Go figure.
  8. No Line On The Horizon is the song I am most digging right now. A lot of people really like Magnificent, but I am not quite there yet. Also, I have really come to like "Get On Your Boots." I especially like it in the context of the entire album.
  9. No Line On The Horizon - U2
  10. So far, I am really enjoying the new album. There are some really great songs and some others that I feel have room to grow on me. But I like every U2 album, so I am perhaps not the most objective judge.
  11. ^ haha. Those two are a loony bunch.
  12. Good thing I don't use either of the Gallaghter brothers as a barometer for pretty much anything.
  13. A Sort Of Homecoming - U2

Without You Here - Goo Goo Dolls
  16. Green Day Thom Yorke vs. Eddie Vedder (they both have solo cds, so it's fair)
  17. I've got no problem with Limp Bizkit. It is what it is. It used to be fun when they would show up at radio festivals as Fred Durst would almost always cause a riot...good times.
  18. I am very excited about this album. I have very high hopes because i really enjoyed American Idiot.

  22. It was pretty enjoyable. Not my favorite song, but it still was good.
  23. Pics are up of Radiohead rehearsing with the USC marching band. It looks like Thom is having fun.http://www.wireimage.com/ItemListings.aspx?igi=351978&nbc1=1
