  1. Miroir Noir is an alternative documentary about Arcade Fire. very nice, every fan should see it. Btw, i'm really pissed off because of the fact, that some people scroll them on Last Fm as Arcade Fire, and some The Arcade Fire. I don't even know, which one is right, because even the band itself use both names. The result is that they are somewhere at the bottom of the top last fm bands, but if you actually add plays and listeners from AF and The AF, they would be in Top 20 of ALL BANDS! very unfair!
  2. HH is the best song on The Eraser and one of the best songs Thom's ever written. The lyrics are so scary when you find out what it is all about.
  3. true. i wish somebody would play new singles by the cure or rem, but they just don't care about them anymore. they will play boys don't cry and everybody hurts till the end of their fcuking lives. :\
  4. i really dig this song, too. quite alternative sounds for u2 these days, a good way to do the new album.
  5. cool. have u guys seen this? [ame=http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=orUCP4GsH9U]YouTube - U2 Q Magazine Session - No Line On The Horizon[/ame] photo shooting for Q...
  6. yeah, that could be another reason. btw, they really like them on pitchfork, don't they?
  7. it's half true. the bands can generate buzz and fanbase on the internet, but in order to become big like U2, killers or coldplay, the NEED radios. Not only uk and usa, but on each continent. well, actually not only radios, tv and magazines as well.
  8. i'm sure it's just temporary. the song is the same, it's just your feeling or attitude than has changed.
  9. yeah, you have to see them. sell something or get an extra job for few days. they're better than muse ;)
  10. the books could be alright though.
  11. agreed. plus the sound is not even decent.
  12. i loved the footnotes and dumbledore's commentary...another brilliant idea...she's an exceptional writer. really looking forward to the new movie. (and to hp full series dvd box ;) ). ps: i think my favourite tale was the one about the hairy heart.
  13. fantastic
  14. everyone should see 'If...' http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0063850/
  15. terminal - 7/10 slumdog millionaire - 10/10 my last movie was Quantum of Solace 6/10.
  16. first time i see these. very interesting. anybody read new jk rowling book?
  17. saw this recently, nice but could be better. i especially enjoyed it before brad pitt came on the scene. my faves are Dark Knight Wrestler
  18. it's a good album but Famous Old Painter is right. you can feel they cannot agree in which direction they should go. maybe paul is not such a strong frontman like thom yorke. who knows.
  19. hey, we want more.
  20. i personally think people only buy cd singles of one or two favourite bands. you know, when you're a die hard fan. so the sales are falling down, i would say albums will be still around as the digital form has lower sound quality. and what i noticed is some people i know actually prefer to buy a vinyl single with bonuses that cd singles. :)
  21. yes, but this is going to be killer. u2 have money, they can make all 5 versions interesting, trust me. and also, they are one of the rare band nowadays, that 'survived' without splitting up, reunions and bullshits. like the cure. they are just worth it man.
