  1. Right now I'm partial to The Goldrush. But, I've been listening to Parachutes a lot.
  2. ...I don't like Green Day... :escaping: Although, by the end of September, I hope to be well rooted in my new job as a teacher at a museum.
  3. Hahaha, 'thead' and then 'thread'.
  4. Happy birthday!
  5. ^This is the time where you build up your expectations because you're influenced by other music. Haha, then when they release the new album, you're socks are knocked off.
  6. .....a little over-obsessive, I think. Happy birthday to your son, though.
  7. ^That 3 years is torture! It's cool for about a year, then you start to want something new and it gnaws at your brain till they release a new album!
  8. Happy birthday, Chrissy!
  9. It's not bad at all. That is, until you learn that you sounded like a wounded moose because you couldn't hear your pitch. Haha! Don't worry about it, I do it all of the time. I just get strange looks. Haha!
  10. Well, I'm not a composer, so I couldn't really make an arrangement for you. But, I have some suggestions. You could get the original online and then slow it down to where it will be about 65-67 on a metronome and put it in 4/4 time. You'll have to mess with the music a bit, but it's worth the work.
  11. On the piano: -Adagio in B Minor by Franc Now learning: -Imagine by John Lennon (super easy) -Requiem for a Dream by Clint Mansell (really tedious and hard)
  12. I'd like to see them try a more folky sound or like a mix of Phoenix/Maps and Atlases. It would certainly be interesting to hear! Maybe more of off-tone stuff, rather than a giant melody. Sing-A-Long stuff would be great too. Whatever they do, I'm sure it will be a whole lot different then what they have already wrote. Or maybe they'll surprise us by going back to stuff like Parachutes.
  13. :cheesy: Awwwrrrssshh!
  14. So, who's participating this year in A Day Without Shoes?
  15. ^Someone is having fun with this. :dozey: I DON'T WANT TO FOLLOW DEATH AND ALL OF HIS FRIENDS!
  16. It may sound a bit like I'm joining the bandwagon, but I have to say Christmas Lights. Other than that, it still is Death and All His Friends.
  17. ALL THIS NOISE, I'M WAKING UP!
  18. I absolutely love the second half of the song. Overall, great song! The video was also very lovely.
  19. I'm in! These things are always fun!
  20. Thank you, thank you!
  21. Oh lawd, when I saw that, I can honestly say that I was (and excuse my language) pissed off! And what makes it even more horrible is that Japan really didn't get into any trouble for it! What really got to me was the fact that Pete Bethune lost his ship and received no compensation for it!
  22. Sorry, and I know this is going to make tons of people on here hate me, but I really don't get the big hype behind Muse. I mean, I can understand why people would like them, but I just don't. Plus, I have viewed one of their concerts for kicks and can honestly say that Coldplay's shows are far better.
  23. Good to hear. Thanks for the update!
  24. Sorry for the double post, the computer was acting down right slow.
