  5. I agree...I'm not really digging the New Moon soundtrack, but we'll just have to see how it's tied in with the film. There were a couple of songs on the Twilight soundtrack that I didn't think fit, and it turns out, they were only played as distant background music and it meant to be ambient to the characters.
  6. Nope, I wouldn't say that. It was slow in the beginning, but they did that to build suspense and get you acclimated to the characters and their situation. I read somewhere that the only reason it has gotten national showing is because of Steven Spielberg. It was shown to him and he took interest in it. The ending that is showing in theaters isn't the actual directors ending, it's Spielberg's ending.....so after seeing it, I'm REALLY curious to see what the director's ending was. I've read that the movie scared Steven Spielberg, which is why Dreamworks picked it up. EDIT: Also, there wasn't a ton of stuff that made you jump. Lots of it was subtle stuff....like a shadow moving on the door or.....well, I don't want to ruin it if anybody plans on seeing it. The first 30 minutes are subtle and then the intensity starts ratcheting up after the introduction of a Ouija board. The actors did a good job.
  7. Well....we just got back from seeing it, and it was definitely creepy......a psychological thriller. I'd recommend people to see it, however, we had some douches in the audience that kept making stupid ass comments when it got quiet. And, of course, some of the girls in the audience screamed like little kids. *sigh* But, other than that....it lived up to the hype.

  18. I really love Amnesiac, too! I know a lot of people say it's their weakest album, but I just don't know if I agree with that. I think OK Computer starts out strong, but then peters out towards the end.
  19. You can go to Stephenie Meyers' website and read the partial of "Midnight Sun." It was intended to be Twilight, but from Edward's perspective.
  20. There have been several reviewers that have said that if you liked "The Blair Witch Project" than this is 100x better and scarier. Problem is, I haven't seen that movie before, so I have nothing to compare it to. If it's all hype, than I don't want to waste my money and yes...the trailer IS intriguing, but doesn't really show enough to make me wanna run out and see it right away. :shrugs:
