Carla, I haven't seen it yet (I'm waiting to go during the day when all the kids are in school), but according to all my friends who have seen it and the reviews I've been reading on TwilightMOMS, it's 100x better than Twilight. The sparkle effect is more believable, the CGI for the wolves is spectacular, and the film flows much better and has a better sense of what the book was about. Also, everybody is in agreement that the acting has VASTLY improved. And Taylor Lautner actually makes the character of Jacob less annoying than he is in the books. Hope that helped. All my friends who saw it at midnight are planning to go see it again and these aren't your normal, "Twi-Hard" fans. These are just regular fans who read the books are interested in seeing the movie. They loved it so much they're going back.

To violetsparks - I've played in many groups! Pretty much all local to where I am (Arkansas). I played with the North Arkansas Symphony for a spell, now I play with the Arkansas Philharmonic. I also ocassionally play with the Fort Smith Symphony. And then I also play with a brass quintet that does mostly jazz, funk, and popular stuff. I play horn and sing. And then I play tenor horn with the Ozark Mountain British Brass Band here in the area. And I teach horn lessons on the side! It's a great life I have.....doing what I love! I think the highlight of my career thus far would be when my collegiate wind symphony got to play at Carnegie Hall back in 2000. To Faust - Nope...no conservatory for me. I wouldn't have been able to afford it even if I got accepted. I was fortunate enough that my high school band was VERY good! And I had a great horn teacher. I eventually wound up attending the University of Arkansas and graduated in 2002 with my degree in music education. But, I don't really use my degree. I perform more than I teach.
