  2. When he was first speaking, I thought of the Artful Dodger and Fagan from the movie Oliver, decked out with the gloves, so I think your right, all part of a costume theme.

  6. Happy Anniversary to Chris and Gwyn!!!! I found this chart that was written, I believe recently, since it mentioned Viva La Vida sorry if it had been posted elsewhere, but it was fun and interesting to read. In Santa Barbara, A California hotel on December 5, 2003, actress Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplayer Chris Martin were wed in a ’secret ceremony’ with no family members attending, and with the Sun shining upon asteroid, Juno, ‘the wife.’ Using their Wedding Day Sun as the male principle, and Moon as the feminie influence in the realtionship – for Sun/Moon represents relationships, particularly marriage – we might gain a bit of insight into their partnership. This is a Fire-Earth combo… Sun Sag-Moon Taurus is the ‘easy to love’ blend, and the ‘avid, lifelong student’ combination. Warm, big-hearted, and generous, this combo of energies is easily approachable (but don’t be paparrazi!) Romantic but reliable, the pleasures of the daily round are well appreciated by this blend. The intention is to live the Good Life (‘Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends’ is Coldplay’s latest release) with a fun and adventure-loving partner. Happiness in a close relationship is a must, with familiar faces all around. Together these energies feel at ease within themselves and can put others at ease, too. But there’s a deep paradox that must be met head on: variety and excitement vs security, absolute promises, and security. (Sag = variety; Tau = security, so we may guess who the primary Wanderer is in this relationship! Plus, Sagittarius is The Seeker, Taurus The Architect and Preserver.) Without realizing it, an addiction to emotional nourishment may form with possessiveness the result. There’s an assumption that the loved on ‘will always be there’ so periodic ramblings may quench the adventurous thirst (world tours can fill the bill admirably, but don’t take Gwyneth for granted); both mates must share a love of learning and exciting activities. Sun Sag-Moon Tau indicates a serious and calm demeanor with an expansive outlook underneath; brilliant insights meld with practical know-how for this common-sense blend. If misdirected or off-course, this blend indicates a lack of initiative, a tendency to live the dream but expect others to pay the bill; it can become a slave to exotic tastes, and if ideologies are allowed to clutter the life, creative output may suffer. A large measure of self-awareness, however, seems to be the case with the Martins, so we see a social conscience, steady aspirations, and a devotion to progress. Self-confidence along with a love of beauty and musical sensitivities are evident; there’s a strong dramatic sense (good for both careers), and a satirical edge to humor, along with entrenched beliefs. It takes a lot for this combo to ‘give up’ for there’s a deep commitment to people and ideals ; Sun Sag-Moon Tau remains at the cutting edge of the creative arts and the social/political scene; there’s a natural understanding of ecological principles and a desire to be involved with preservation. Well, this is a brief portrait of the ‘practical philosopher’ blend of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s relationship. For further insight, let’s consider who shares this dramatic blend in their natal charts: Ricardo Montalban, Van Heflin, Busby Berkely, Jim Morrison, and John Milton, who reminds us that: ‘A mind not to be changed by place or time. The mind is its own place, and in itself Can make a Heaven of Hell, a Hell of Heaven.’ And the Sun Sag-Moon Taurus ‘Images for Integration’ are quite descriptive for this pair, I think, although money seems to be front and center: ‘A pirate ship searches for gold (‘Yellow’ written for Gwyneth?)…An armchair traveller roughs out a financial plan for his next adventure.’ (‘Sun Sign-Moon Sign’ by Charles and Suzi Harvey.) Want more details? How about the Pre-Natal Eclipse Series in which their marriage occurred? It’s one that all couples might envy a little: Solar Eclipse Nov 23, 2003 @ 1Sag14, 5 New South Series: peak experiences like falling in love; very joyful and happy, good news, and benefits that last. Well, in spite of periodic rumors about their break-ups and splits, I hope this romantic couple stays together through good times and bad, and I’m wishing them and their family all the best!
  7. GOOPy and Blair Waldorf 2009 was a light year for Gwyneth on the work front. By the way, her last film Two Lovers was just named by the National Board of Review as one of the Top 10 independent films of the year. But Gwyneth, in the midst of rumoured marital discord, will be looking ahead to a very busy 2010 that includes promotion for Iron Man 2, working with Nicole Kidman on The Danish Girl, and now a new project has just been announced. Love Don’t Let Me Down is a “country singing drama” that will shoot in Nashville in January. G plays a washed up has-been country artist who messes around with a young performer, Garrett Hedlund, while her husband, Tim McGraw, manages both their careers. Then Leighton Meester joins them on tour and f-cks everything to sh-t. And Tobey Maguire is producing. So Gwyneth Paltrow’s next role is a country crooning cougar. I love it. She better work a perm for authenticity. As for what’s going on with Chris Martin – Coldplay isn’t touring until February so perhaps he’ll move to Tennessee with the kids while she’s filming. Perhaps he’ll also get started on that lawsuit against Star Magazine because he says they lied about him cheating on his wife with Kate Bosworth. Right. Oh and this week’s GOOP is about creative gift giving and monogramming iPods and cutting boards.
  8. Right after Chris sings "Lights go out" theres a moving light that looks like the sparklers they used to open their show, moving around in a circle:lol:
  9. 6.59 currently 3rd, I can't believe GW is #1, I like BJA, but GW? ** I like the pic of Chris too**
  10. Question, is the Grammys like the Oscars, as the winners of the year before always presents the new winners? They all or Chris or one of the others could be there to present the new awards.
  11. Well maybe not this first movie, but there is a sequel in the works with RDJ and Jude Law reprising their roles and Brad Pitt is to play the character "Moriarty", so maybe Chris/Coldplay might contribute to this move. It is going to be a really good movie tho. Oh and the house they filmed in is the same house that was used for C. Blacks home in one of the Harry Potter films.
  12. Chris goes on his merry way with others, I think it's a healthy way of expressing different sides to a person.
  13. Yeah, we know it was a joke, just a bad one;)
