Yeah, I expected Ottawa or something. Since they don't really want to play the same cities that they just visited. Lots of people were saying they'll come to London. But I honestly don't see a single reason why someone as big as Muse would play a gig in London. It's a nice city and everything but it's ...well not big/famous enough? Seriously half of the people in this thread probably don't even know what "London" I'm even talking about :shame:...

How does that contradict my point of view? What does that even have to do with anything? Even if I still was "obsessed" with Coldplay, I could still think U2 is better. And that was just a retarded username I happened to come up with when I first joined. Uhm your facts are wrong. Have you checked U2's salary for the past year? 75.3 million pounds. That's more than any other band or artist have made in the world. So obviously U2 has more fans, and more people are willing to spend money on them. What does facebook fan count give you? A lot of people on my facebook know one song from a band and click "like" so that's pretty inaccurate.

People like you, make me wonder why Chris Martin even thought of saying I guess it was a joke or something. Have you ever even listened to U2? Probably not. So stop dissing them. Mkay thanks. That brings me to my next question how many other bands other than Coldplay have you even listened to? And no bands under the names: Pectoralz, Starfish, or even Apparatjik do not count. Also why would we go to a U2 forum? Just because we listen to more than one band unlike you , doesn't change the fact that we still like some of coldplay's stuff. Finally I think anyone, who is not delusional on this forum will agree that Coldplay maybe not yet, but hey maybe they never will be, but are not the biggest and greatest band alive. Their music is great, but there is no fucking way Coldplay is bigger than U2.

As much as heartbroken I am about Toronto being postponed (seriously I was about to cry), I feel really bad for Bono. I'd much rather have him healthy when they're here. So yeah... get well soon Bono! Plus I think I actually found a brightside to this: I'll have my full drivers license by then so I could drive to the venue and line up whenever I want to even if it's like 2 nights before :dozey: Because this time I around I asked my mom for a ride before 8 am and she just laughed at me.

Coldplay have a bigger fan base (hardcore fans...so basically you guys) everywhere because they've been around for a longer time. But KoL is more popular, cause everyone is likely to know the songs from OBTN, just because it gets played on the radio so much at least where I live, while the only song that actually got horribly overplayed from VLVADAAHF was Viva la vida. And I'm just comparing the last albums from both bands. But Coldplay is the "bigger" band, they're able to put on bigger shows and sell out larger venues...

Are you talking about like the show itself not the music? I kinda get what you're saying I think, but their shows are actually one of the best live acts out there imo, and I'm not only talking about music, but the graphics and special effects as well. My opinion might be a bit bias, but here's the thing, I took my mom to see Muse with me three weeks ago. And my mom, besides having some weird hearing problem where she can't really comprehend loud music (so basically at concerts all songs sound like one to her :facepalm:), she also pretty much doesn't know anything about music, and by anything I mean practically nothing, so if she ever met someone like uh... say Bono I'm pretty sure she wouldn't even recognize him. But yeah, after the concert she wouldn't stop talking about how awesome she thought it it was, like I said she didn't even hear the music, but once we got home she called all her friends and started telling them about how epic the intro was, the giant balloons, the lasers and bunch of other stuff, she said that it was worth every penny, just the show itself. So I guess you can't really judge them, unless you see them :shrug:... but I guess since you hate them so much you never will :dozey: and not trying to be a bitch to you Eddie, you have a great music taste but just stating my opinion :uhoh:

I love both Radiohead and Muse. Muse is my #1 though right now, above everyone else. Oh come on it's called evolving. You have to make every new album something different, try new stuff styles, etc. Seriously, do people expect all the albums to sound like OOS? That wouldn't get them anywhere. Or any other band for that matter, so if Coldplay made all the albums "Parachutes" style, they'd get pretty boring after a while and people would stop listening to them...So The Resistance might not be a very muse-like album, but it's still part of them. It's not my favourite, but I accept it. Just like you said everyone is entitled to their opinion, but TR isn't as horrible as most people seem to think it is, it definitely made them more popular at least. So they didn't lose the direction, they're just trying out new things, and they have full rights to do that, plus it seems to be working out for them, so why not?

Oh yeah! That's really great for them, getting more fans and stuff too. I remember when I was in the Edge crowd one of them was like "so have any of you guys seen us playing live in Toronto before?" *everyone around me looks down* couple people on the other side were like "YEAH SOUNDACADEMYWHOOOOO":dozey: And yeah, I actually really enjoyed their act, it was lovely :nice: Edit^ I'm sure you'll see them in concert and meet them one day....

Saw them opening for Muse 2 weeks ago and also doing an acoustic session for the Edge radio station. They sounded really nice... I got to meet Brian and Chris as well after wards and got their autographs, they were both really sweet and all, but seemed a bit high :shrug:

this. Meh, no kidding. Honestly if it wasn't for Ryan Miller, the outcome of the game could have been verryyyyy different. Yeah, Team Canada wasn't that perfect maybe, Marty wasn't at his best, yeah he had some good saves, but he kept going behind the net in really bad timings and he well basically assisted the 2nd (?) goal for USA, and we kept making silly giveaways. But for one we out shot USA: 45-22. And whatever, this just means we have to play an extra game on Tuesday. Germany, here we come...
